    What is society? Is it some sort of autonomous force that decrees specific expectations of the populous at large? Not quite. Society is quite the vague thing, being an amalgamation of millions of people's thoughts, behaviors, cultures, etc. Even then, whatever expectations might be there are still up to the interpretation of the individual.
