I will play Amnesia at some point, and you bet your flank I will stream it! Though I don't think I'll have as strong a reaction as some of you.
I wish I could play Amnesia for the first time again, it was a pretty intense and scary experience. I played in a completely dark room. :F But then I got stuck somewhere very close to the ending, and lost my motivation to continue playing. *sigh* I'll never again be as immersed in that game as I was back then. I kind of ruined it for myself by not finishing it.
There's some idiots on this game show who thought Tetris was released first out of Pac Man, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong and itself.
Deadspace you at least have some way to defend yourself, Amnesia you have to run and hide in the darkest corner from the monsters. For instance Spoiler: WARNING DO NOT LOOK AT THIS IF YOU ARE FAINT HEARTED So I would say Dead space is a little less scary Also, the game itself is not that bright, it is a lot darker, the guy just brightened it so you could see the monster. There is even a background on that guy in the pic, If I remember correctly he was once a normal person, but Alexandria experimented on him in the worst ways possible.
Oh, I've seen some of the enemies, yeah... But in game, they're too fast to be recognised really, aren't they? A good thing that would be, 'cos I personally think they look a little dumb when you're actually lookin' at them... XD Hi Dark! Dandy here! Feet aching from walking muchly... XD How's you?

Actually what makes the game scary is the constant scary noises and spontaneous events that happen throughout the game. Like for instants you'll be walking through a hallway, then you turn to open a door, but all of a sudden, you hear a scream/growl on the otherside, then that whatever it is bashes and tries to open the door, then you run, and you are too scared to go inside, but when you get there there is nothing, all just a trick. The story of what this guy did to all those people are also very scary. And the monsters in the game, when they spot you, they give chase and they are FAST so beware. Anyway, goodnight I'm off to bed. Last day of holidays tomorrow
It does sound like a good game. I've seen some gameplay, looks really fun! Night! I always have to go outta town for that sorta stuff. Curse this town, and it's lack of everything!
