Yes. We are. Mainly because it's been said like 900000000 times already and nobody has ever said anything about the word 'Orgasm'.
I think that one's fine. It's dorect words. Like, ones that are obviously youknowwhat. Kids don't know what that word is, but they probably would be... Damaged? If you spoke very out of hand.
I am so bored. Being threatened at gunpoint to watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood or whatever. I'll get round to it.
's true. Maybe I will. Dunno. I don't find anything I have to say all that interesting. They password blocked the computer so I can't install anything without their password. I don't care enough to try and get their password through espionage and they would find out after I installed it anyhoof, so there isn't really a way. Maybe I could use my grandparents' computer. Heh, but then I get grounded for being a smart you-know-what. Because talking to your parents that way is "disrespectful". Really just another way of saying that using logic to get my way is wrong. Because if a parent says logic is wrong, it's WRONG. >.> But when you wield absolute power, I suppose you can say whatever you want and be "right". If I ever have kids, I'll let them have their way if they can prove that they are right through logic. But anyways, in this case they actually have a reasonable argument. My dad uses it for work occasionally, and let's just say spyware getting onto it would not be good. @ Yami: Still sad? Be happy! D:
I would have done that, since there's a PC right in our basement that runs Linux, but there are multiple problems with that as well: 1. If I get a full-fledged desktop PC, there is nowhere in our house to put it. My parents won't allow it in the living room because it will interrupt when they have visitors over, it can't be in our sunroom because of the temps in the winter, they won't allow it in bedrooms because they claim (with some validity) that we kids will stay up on it all night, and obviously it can't go in the kitchen, dining room or bathroom. The office already has a computer, which is the one I'm on now. 2. If I get a laptop, they still won't let me have it to myself because they are paranoid about something. I'm not sure what. But they put millions of restrictions on my account on this CPU, while my sister, who is 12, has no restrictions or filters or blocks besides the ones she puts on it herself. And they won't allow me to password protect my account, while they did allow my sister to password protect hers. I mean, jeez, it's not like I go on adult websites or look at porn or something. All I ask for is the freedom to install a few games and have access to youtube. But noooooooo. 3. Even if the above two problems did not apply, my parents still would not allow me to have my own personal computer. I mean, we had enough problems when the school gave each student their own personal iPad (wasn't really "ours", but eh). My parents were seriously considering forcing us to leave them at school and making us go to school early to do any homework they gave to us on them. So I highly doubt they would take well to me having a laptop that was ACTUALLY mine, not just something I was allowed to have during the school year that has a bunch of filters on what we can do and is really the school's. They won't even let me have it if I buy it with my own freaking money. There. My rant is over.
Eh, you get used to it after a while. I don't even think about it most of the time. I think they succeeded in brainwashing me. :derpe: The only time I think about it is when other people talk about how they downloaded the newest games, or when they bring their personal laptop to a get-together. But eh. I guess I can't complain that much. Lately they've given up trying to control my computer time, probably because I made several sound arguments as to why they should not restrict me from writing fanfics, drawing pictures, and commuincating with other human beings (albiet through the internet). Also I pointed out that they spend more time on video games than me, especially my mom, who is on facebook games like farmville whenever I'm not on EP. xD
Legion.Move out as soon as you can.Your parents are nazi's.And complete morons. And you're 16.YOU should be able to make you own decisions. Not them.
@ Sparky: Lol, that's pretty much what all my other friends say. xD My parents' opinion is that if I'm responsible enough to make my own decisions, I'm responsible enough to move out. Which is basically saying that they aren't going to let me make my own decisions until I move out. One more year until High School is done, but despite the freedoms I am slightly nervous. I know I won't have a problem holding a job, it's just getting a job in this economy that I'm worried about. I still don't have one (my parents are convinced that kids should have some method of earning money from age 12 and up), and I know that getting one will make it easier to get them in the future. Problem is, apparently you need to have had a job to get a job. Because they take people with experience before people without it. And I am without it. D: So you can understand why I am a bit apprehensive to move out. I really want a job...
