Another fun fact: Pickling began about 4000 years ago in India.

Pig's feet. They sell them at gas stations in the backwoods of the southern states. XD

    They look frightful.

You can pickle pretty much anything. Just shove it in salt water/vinegar and leave it for a while (more or less).

Can we get off the subject of pickled things? Have you guys heard of this awesome show? It's called MY Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! I heard it has a huge fanbase too! We should totally join it!

But we're going for the world record!

On a pickle related note, apparently you can get pickled butter and ram's testicles. Nice.

Exactly the point in pickling them, Sparky. They're naturally hard, because they need to be functional. Pickling them breaks down lots of natural enzymes in animal feet, which makes them proper for human digestion. Pickling things with meat is a hard endeavour, since after a few days they'll be bathing in a vat of germs. And that would just be bad if meat had a run in pickling germs.

Sorry, I'll speak English now.. ¦I

Beats me. I'm assume it's because they can. I'm a vegetarian, so I can assure you that I'll be avoiding that kind of stuff.

Also Sparky, you may want to avoid Iceland. Apparently it's kind of a delicacy over there.

It wasn't my choice exactly, my dad force fed them to me saying they were 'doughnut holes in a special sauce'

I've even eaten a pickled oreo, it was scrumptious.
