Well the jump from Fallout 1 and 2 to Fallout 3 and New Vegas was pretty huge, i wish they had kept it more similar to the originals.
Ah, My bf thought the same. He always discussed how the character interactions were especially entertaining and informative in the 1st and 2nd Fallout. He tried me to get into Neverwinter Nights and I just couldn't stomach the graphics. (reminded me of the older Runescape format) Very shallow, though I'm not particularly a prominent gamer unless it's an RPG. (with Magiks) which is why we downloaded Perfect World international. Then I realised how insanely 'level-based' it was like a lot of other online free world games, and I honestly don't have the patience for PvP nonsense, with all that ego stroking and n00b bashing. It's plagued with it.
Its a shame there are few RPGs i would consider better than the RPGs you would consider to be classic these days, I can't get into Online RPGs these days.
About that.... I do play World of Warcraft from time to time, (only cause i have friends who play it so i thought I'd give it a shot) Even then i can't get into it really.
It's fine when you have acquaintances that play it, because to me it improves the gaming experience substancially just to have the power of numbers and the excitement of company joining you on quests. I used to play Wizard 101 when I was a younger teen, and my two cousins/best friends and me always used to be overpowered by groups of imbecillic high level hoggers (who probably bought their 'prestige') and yet we still managed to have a lot of fun. Also, I can't wait to get Sims 2 back and download lotsa mods!
I only have one person around my level on World of Warcraft anyway, Though that makes the game that much more fun.
I might convince a couple of friends to join Perfect World aswell. There are less benefits being a tideborn.
