Do you mean the wierder parts of the fandom, or just the fandom in general? If you're talking about the cloppers and such, they're a subsection of the fandom that, like DoDo said, you can very well ignore and choose not to associate with. If you mean the fandom in general, then I have to ask, "why are you still here?" I don't mean that to be offensive, but for example if I didn't like motorcycles, then I wouldn't feel the need to belong to a motorcycle forum. Just sayin' By the by, Cracked.com is a site I used to frequent quite often, until I realized that they intentionally post shock articles just to rock the boat and get attention, with no thought towards unbiased writing or fact checking. It's not worth viewing. I'll go be a tool on the radio like Bounty now....
Now I got somethin' to say about this. Spoiler: Mildly NSFW Rant Why the hell are people so harsh towards cloppers in the first place? All things considered, it's no better than looking at pornography, except it involves cartoon horses. I have seen some great SFW and some great NSFW art. Both have artists that have specific styles that make things appealing; what people choose to... 'like' is entirely up to them. People have no right to say 'OMG U NEED 2 B BANISH FRUM FANDUMB BCUZ U R CLOPPR'. I suppose that also means I should be hated because I used to be part of the furry fandom before I got tired of the drama. It's not like they're any less of a person than you for doing what they do. They may like the same TV show as you or the same game as you, and a lot of other things. You may very well be the same, just have different tastes. This applies to all fandoms who hate the R34 section of things. Nothing you can do about it. Live with it.

I have nothing against people who're into that, but everything against the material itself. The material itself disgusts me, but people are into what people are into- And what people are into isn't even necessarily a choice. Just so long as it doesn't show up on my screen, I'm cool with it.
