It gets to me sometimes because these carts are usually highly contested at this store. We have a bad history of not having enough to go around, even for people who really need it. There was one really awkward moment that left me feeling terrible (even though I have no control over how many of these carts we have) where I essentially sent a 90-year-old woman back home because there weren't any carts ofr her (all were in use) and she didn't want to wait for one. D:
Same thing happened to me a few years ago when I worked at our local Walmart. Poor lady, she just wanted to buy some food for her New Year's dinner. When she was about to leave I asked a friend of mine to watch my back and I went to ask the lady what she was looking for. Ran into the store, picked up the stuff she needed, paid for them and delivered the cargo to the elderly woman. I really can not tolerate watching old people suffer just because we're too busy to notice them. It was a good day.
I'm fine thanks! Currently on school, so may be on/off the chat a little bit... Also, you're new? Welcome to Everypony!
Thanks for the kind welcome, but I'm actually returning on a new account -- I originally signed up here in like August of 2011, I'm also not too much of a fan of the show anymore, but the social aspects of this forum usually turn out to amusing. Generally.
My name was Snowy Shuffles, I would've just logged back into that account if I remember the password for it, haha. And hello to you too.
Wow, I kinda thought it was you, but then I decided it couldn't be. xD (Says "Shufflin' around" in your title, but when I checked your old acount, it looked like you had a different OC...) Can't you just change your Password? Also, WELCOME BACK!!
Really? Haha, it's been like a year since I've been on here, didn't think anyone would recognize me. I could, but I don't remember the email the account was attached to, haha, that's what I get for being so forgetful.
I'm good thanks! Just had an extremely dull ECM day, though, and now trying to do Homework which seems to make little sense... xP
Every time I come home from school and think I have the rest of the day for myself, I remember I have homework for the next day ;-;
