    Garfield was walking down the road. He wanted to get away from the stresses of everyday life. It took him a while to clear his head, so by the time he was finished, he had ran out of road and was following a dirt path. Since Garfield had no idea where he was, he figured that he'd follow the path and see where it takes him. After about 2 and a half hours of walking, he came across a swamp. In this swamp he saw a little house. He walked up to it and knocked on the door. After about 10 seconds, the door slowly opened and a green ogre appeared.

    "What are you doing in mah swamp?!" said Shrek

    "Urinating and marking my territory" said the cat.

    This silenced the big ogre. After thinking for a bit, Shrek said "I like you, we should get married"

    But Garfield said, "same-sex marriage is illegal, so that's impossible"

    This outraged Shrek. He walked over to the town hall and said "Same-sex marriage should be legal"

    The people at the office said "Sure, all you had to do was ask"

    So Garfield and Shrek got married and lived happily ever after.
