^ Tumblr IRL. My friend was once called a racist for rejecting a black man's advances. She was uninterested, taken... And on her way to work, at six in the morning, in her uniform. Wtf. It's a shame, as crying racism when it's uncalled for just strengthens people's actual racism. I get so pissed sometimes.
I've been called a racist many times. Why should I have to put up with an idiot simply because his skin is a different color than mine?
An idiot is an idiot, no matter what the colour of their sin might be. I think it's an easy weapon. When called a racist, you're suddenly in a position where you have to defend yourself from the accusations. I just tell people not to make it a racial issue when it's clearly not. EDIT: What? Is this unfit for the general chat thread? I thought we were just venting.
