I hate parties. I fail to see what's so desirable about a bunch of people that I barely know trashing my house and drinking all my booze. Also, today I accidentally said "everypony" instead of "everybody."
^ this forever Except in my case it's a bunch of people that I know very well, trashing somebody else's house (but I'll have to help clean up), and drinking all the booze I wish was mine. I skipped my Christmas reunion for the same reason and I wish I had skipped Thanksgiving too. lol We should get together and throw our own Everypony party instead. Where we all watch Mateus get drunk and play horror games.
Yes I like this idea. Also be sure to plug your ears on my rants about Fire Emblem. They get a bit crazy.
Yep, Ridley pretty much hit the nail on the head. Then again, the other people brought some of my favorite foods over and since I'm a fatass, I have been won over. Darn.
You haven't heard a Fire Emblem rant until you've heard me go on a rant about how statistically Leonardo is the worst Sniper and would theoretically be a much better unit if Cancel was replaced with a skill like Adept.
Thank god. Dinner is done. I'm so stressed out today with drama here and the party I feel like I'm going to have a stroke. I hope it rains so no one forces me to do outdoor activities that I don't want to do.
I know nothing... FE1/2/3/11/12 The Fire Emblem was a pedestal for the Starspheres. When all 5 spheres were placed into it they sealed away the Earth Dragons, who had all gone feral and wanting to destroy humanity. FE4/5: The crest of house Velthomer, where antagonists Alvis, and his son, Julius, rule over. FE6/7: In ancient times, used by the hero Hartmut, along with the Sword of Seals to seal the Dark Dragon, Idoun. He later founded Bern, where the Fire Emblem became its most valued treasure. It also opens Bern's throne room in FE6. FE8: There were 5 Sacred Stones that kept the Demon King from returning. The stone of nation Grado, the Fire Emblem, split in half, the pure half being crushed to dust, and the other, becoming the Dark Stone. The Dark Stone can apparently re-animate the dead, though they become nothing more than empty shells, nevermore their true selves again. FE9/10 Lehran's Medallion seals away the goddess Yune. Simply touching it instantly drives men to madness... kind of a One Ring, minus the addictiveness, and more homicidal rage.
Again, sounds like me and pokemon. XD I used to listen all the time to (and even be a part of) the debates on why Garchomp should be banned, why Infernape is better than Blaziken, blah blah blah. Even today I still coach my friends with their competitive teams even though I don't play myself. lol
http://youtu.be/PK3x2DOoJIc I could call Gaston many things None of which are appropriate for children to hear
tl;dr: the Fire Emblem is just some fancy shield which is also the main focus of every game in one way or another. I think "Fire Emblem" is just something out of the english translation or something.
It's not a shield in every game lol. It's also not a translation artifact; it's called "faia-emuburemu" in Japanese too. My theory is it's just a name the original writers went with because they thought it was cool.
It was meant to mean 'The Flames of War can be for a Good Cause' Good Cause being an Emblem, also used as a crest or seal for a family or something similar.
