My first Anime was Pokemon which I no longer have interest in although at the time I didn't know it was Anime.
If we're talking about first anime, then DBZ and Pokemon were my first, I think. But they're not what got me into the anime subculture. Also, Funimation! Y u 7 years behind on the one piece anime?
4Kids owned it before them. Funimation bought it in 2007 after 4Kids gave up, and they've since spent most of their time cleaning up the mess they made. lol
It's your own fault. I check the birthday announcements almost everyday. You must have forgotten to put your birthday in your profile. Happy birthday, Mr. Forgetful.
Oh god...oh the repressed memories...they're coming back... And yeah, I didn't see anything about your birthday Janemba.
Hmm... If I had to guess, I would say that the site has become self-aware, and has developed an extreme dislike for you in particular. Either that, or it has something to do with the privacy setting on your profile.
I have been on such a Transformers binge lately and I don't know why. I know nothing about it except from the Bay films and I heard those were ripped apart by fans, but I just double dosed on War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron and I need more! Why wasn't any of that in the movies?!? I have no clue who most of those robots were in those games but they were all awesome. Jazz, Bruticus, the dinosaur ones, and Soundwave! I need more!
Aw, now I feel bad. Don't worry DoDo, you're now my favorite member here for at least the next 2 months.
So, I heard some kid today say that 9/11 was "boring and stupid." Ugh. It's hard to believe how quickly people forget.
To be fair, it's been over ten years, and if it was a kid, then perhaps they didn't know about it at all until society told them they're supposed to feel upset or honorable about something that happened a long time ago to other people. The fact that we haven't experienced any real followups or similar threats to 911 makes the event even more likely to fade from people's minds. Time moves on. There's no need to disrespect it by calling it "boring and stupid", but there's also no reason for everybody to honor its memory if they don't feel any emotion towards it.
