This thread probably isn't the best place to start, haha. As for what you're doing, well it depends what you're interested in. There are lots of different areas of the forum, just find one you like. ^^
So, I just managed to book an executive suite at a hotel for a night next month for less than 150 quid (breakfast included). What a steal! I can't wait to see what my free shower curtain looks like in a room like that, among other complimentary items. I expect to be wowed. Also, lets consider this my 'Farewell Post' in advance for November 2nd to November 4th. Now, in other news, how is everyone tonight?
^ That is a steal, unless it's an executive suite in a really bad hotel haha. I can never find good hotel prices unless I book like a year in advance >.> In unrelated news, NY Comic Con is this weekend and guess who's going? This guy. Gonna watch the screening of NGA 3.33, try to get an autograph from Katie Cook and possibly get to see HitGirl, among many, many other things. ^.^ ...Brace yourselves, pictures are coming.
I recently ordered a graphics tablet from a Chinese company. Really cheap, with excellent reviews. The problem is, because a bunch of old men in Washington, D.C. won't stop acting like stupid children, U.S. Customs is completely screwed up. I have no idea when, or even if, it will arrive.
Last time I ordered something from China it took almost 4 months for it to arrive, and that was when government programs were actually functioning -_-
So I've grown acne. Now do I take medication and give up my natural beauty, or don't and be a horrible monster.
Its a 4* hotel my man, I've seen the pictures of the place, its like an apartment flat with a kitchen and living area! I can't get over the price, I was sure they would jack it up to around 200 or so as it's a Cup Final weekend.
Well, for acne I don't recommend Accutane or any of its derivativesThe side affects are quite serious and even after two years of taking it, there's about a 50% chance it'll come back anyway. I looked into it after my doctor suggested I go on it, ya hell no. Start washing your face two times a day and use oil-free moisturizer afterwards, the moisturizer re-hydrates your skin so it won't produce oil to rehydrate itself after washing. You can also wash your face with one of many, many topical cleansers containing either salicylic acid or benopropyl alcohol which will help kill acne bacteria. If that fails, there are oral antibiotics a dermatologist can give you to keep acne bacteria under control. Accutane is only ever prescribed after all these measures have failed, but even then I would rather live with some acne than get bone spurs, hair loss, liver damage or skin deformities, to name a few. Oh yeah, and if you only have like one or two zits and you have a school dance or something to go to, pop open an Advil Liqui-gel and rub the liquid on the pimple, it'll should make it disappear or greatly reduce it almost instantly because ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory. I don't recommend rubbing it all over your face all the time or anything, that probably won't go well.
Frosty the science guy. Well, knowing that I'm too lazy to research that, I'll just use my good ol' paranoia to just say no to everyting.
TLR, just say no to Accutane. And yeah, I know a ridiculous amount of random and often useless information. Thanks brain, you removed my ability to do maths in order to make room for lolcats and Snapple Facts.
NEVER use acutane!!! my friend (known as jettanddarkshadow on this forum) got a really messed up stomach from using that crap.
I've read that this is quite effective. I found it on a Wiccan site that I visit occasionally. Acne Remedy 2 to 3 tsp. dried basil leaves 1 C. boiling water Steep basil leaves in water for 10 to 20 minutes. Cool, then apply to face with a white cotton ball.
