Apparently there is this thing in Dark Souls that is called 'being cursed'. Y u do dis, game designers? ;_;
Howdy all. Hope you are all enjoying this Nightmare Night - - Auto Merge - - Who honestly thought we had time to read every single piece of text during a zombie outbreak when this game was being made? I hated Dead Rising 2 because of that.
Champion of the Parish. <3 It looks good so far, but if it were me I would maindeck Negate and Gather the Townsfolk, in place of Unsummon or a few Preordains. Since it'd be a control deck, you're less likely to need things like Preordain to control your draws as they happen; instead you can just focus on slowing your opponent down until you draw whatever you need to finish the game (or add tutors to search for it, but most of those are black and I'm too lazy to look up relevant ones right now). Defensively Unsummon could protect a few of your creatures here and there from removal, but then you'd have to pay their mana costs again and for ones like Lavinia or Avacyn, that can be prohibitive. Offensively it can take care of your opponent's creatures for a short while, but if those creatures have enters-the-battlefield abilities, which a lot of dangerous ones do, it can make things worse because you'll have to deal with those effects a second time. I almost always prefer Essence Scatter to deal with creatures, or Spin into Myth; though it costs much more mana, it's probably the best removal blue gets. I'd maindeck Negate because it's one of the best defenses a creature deck can have against an opponent's combat tricks, removal, and worst of all, Wrath effects. And if mass removal does catch you off guard, Gather the Townsfolk is good for getting creatures back onto the board, and you might also want to consider Increasing Devotion for late- or semi-late-game recovery. Champion of the Parish, of course, is that much sexier with those spells in the equation. <3 Lastly I have a few smaller suggestions off the top of my head: Angelic Overseer - Aforementioned as one of my favorite angels. Very dangerous flyer with protection from most removal. Herald of War - Another good angel that not only gets buffer over time but also makes all your humans cheaper. Cavalry Pegasus - Neat combat trick to avoid enemy blockers. Vulnerable to removal, but it's cheap and profitable, and any removal your opponent spends on this will be removal they won't have when it's time to deal with your more important creatures. Dearly Departed - Reliable buff for any humans you play, though of course if you don't have a convenient way of getting it into your graveyard it's best to pass on it. Spare from Evil - Shorter-lasting but cheaper Riders of Gavony effect. Can quickly buy you time if your opponent starts using creatures of a type other than the one you chose with any existing Riders you have on the field. Mass Appeal - Mass cards. I don't know what I'd sub out for these, they're just considerations I would make.
Wakatta, nandemo suru kara, poni! >:I Uh...Dakara, onegai shimasu, Rarity-sama. Happy Halloween!
Pretty awesome Pumpkins, Yami! I didn't do any this year, 'cos I've been a most boring fart. I just ate sweets n' stuff.
My dad hates Halloween SO much. He sees the house to house candy crawls as begging but of course we were allowed to go Trick or Treating because Momma knew we wanted sum of dat Candy. He also never opens the door on Halloween after a certain time and anyone in the house is prohibited from giving out candy to the children because he thinks they will come back next year. He just don't dig the 2spoopy lifestyle.
Come to think of it, I never really celebrate any holiay whatsoever. Just Christmas in a halfassed way. This is a great amiss. Maybe I should dig up some old pagan rites or something.
Since it was an Australian, I can understand guessing maryland on the wrong coast. Silly Australians and their upside down world.
What's really sad is that this guy lives in Australia, and doesn't know how many states Australia has.
