Yesterday was the worst day ever and I have now lost faith in many if not all mental health professionals/organisations in my area, including the hospital. A Crisis worker that tells any suicidal teen that it's okay to kill themselves and let them walk out of the hospital after having an anxiety attack is just the worst human being on earth.
Before every Thanksgiving dinner, I like to sit and think about what kind of life the turkey had. I like to imagine him as having had hopes and dreams, maybe even a turkey wife and children. Giving the bird a back-story just makes it that much tastier.
It's for this reason that I can't stand eating turkey. ...And it tastes horrible. ...And I can't digest the stuff.
When you drink a glass of water, realize that the stuff you're drinking is actually over a billion years old and still hasn't expired.
If it's so hard to believe then my personal GP was wrong for telling me and my Fiance to write a complaint and they will back me up? I was rushed to the hospital yesterday and even though my GP and the nurse there demanded I be treated and possibly sectioned, the Crisis workers kept refusing to see me for hours despite the nurse getting the hospital Psychiatrist and his Consultant involved, and this is all because the team I saw the day before said that I have 'no Mental illness' (Which is of course wrong.)My family, my GP and my Fiance are all contributing to the complaint. Due to yesterday I am no longer capable of going outside. I collapsed on the ground after they forced the nurse to discharge me despite him wanting to section me, and now I'm a nervous wreck. Sorry for going into so much detail here. I know it's personal but I just....I don't know, I'm so upset and disgusted about the way I've been treated. I guess I shouldn't air my dirty laundry out for all to see. Sorry again guys.
I'm not sure how the law works over there, but this sounds like grounds for a lawsuit. If you were suicidal, and they refused to help, then they knowingly put your life in danger. I recommend going to their superiors with your complaint, and if that doesn't work, go to their superiors' superiors. If they did it to you, then the odds are good that they've done it to others. Also, have a smiling puppy.
I was getting tired and told the Nurse that I wanted to go home, and he said he had a 'duty of care' and couldn't let me leave bcause it wasn't worth my life. Then the crisis team (after hours of declining to see me) just argued and overrode that decision because after seeing them I was hysterical because of their attitude towards me and yet again they let me walk out of the hospital after experiencing yet another episode. They obviously didn't take me seriously due to my age, and if we can go that far with the complaint we will. I don't know where I stand at the moment, but luckily I have a supportive family that will help me one day at a time. They are also notoriously bad with their line of care. I have heard stories from a friend and family members now in my inbox. It's more common than I thought and that's just....wrong. Thanks Ridley :') I love puppies. *Hugs*
