I'd rather just have a hit of DMAA, but a bunch of government jerks decided to make it illegal. It not like it ever killed anybody that I liked.
I am considering watching Fairy Tail and Toriko next year considering the Anime shows that I already watch do you think I will enjoy these two shows? (Bleach, Digimon Adventure 01, Digimon Adventure 02, Digimon Tamers, Digimon Frontier, Digimon Data Squad, Digimon Fusion, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Z Kai, Dragon Ball GT, Fooly Cooly, Full Metal Alchemist (2003), Inuyasha, Naruto, Naruto Shippuden and One Piece I now also watch Soul Eater as well. I forgot to post Blazblue Alter Memory for those of you who haven't heard of it is a Anime show based on the Blazblue video games at this moment in time there is no English Dub/ English version so yeah I watch it with English subtitles)
I thought I would have liked Fairy Tail, but I find they just reuse animation way too much. If that doesn't bother than you, go ahead, but Lucy is also the stereotypical useless girl. Erza is nice, but to be honest, I couldn't get far enough in to learn whether or not they really flesh out her character. Soul Eater is great. Totally watch it. I can't stand One Piece. Why would you need 600+ episodes for a plot as simple as "Find X". It seems like it got dragged out longer than it should have been, and many fans I talk to agree. I only watched Naruto up till the point Gaara "died". I heard they were bringing it to a close though, so that's nice. Try out: Neon Genesis Evangelion (Gainax, deconstruction of the mecha genre) Shingeki no Kyojin (best in 2013) Akira (classic) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (Gainax, mecha) Though these have nothing to do with the ones you posted above, these are also good: Madoka Magica (deconstruction of the magical girl genre) Coppelion (tokyo is the old capital after nuclear fallout. Search+rescue mission for all survivors. Art style may be offputting) The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Amazing. Be careful in what order you watch it in though) I haven't watched it yet, but I heard Cowboy Bebop was good.
Considering his list of favorite shows, I highly doubt shows like NGA or Madoka would be up his alley. Gurren Lagann isn't a bad suggestion though. By the way you guys, we do have a thread specifically for anime and anime recommendations... I really should put a link in my sig or something, everyone forgets it exists... >.<
I did say they had nothing to do with the above. NGE and TTGL are both from Gainax, and he said he saw FLCL. If I recall correctly, Gainax did all of them. And while NGE is a lot more complicated and deeper than TTGL, it's still an action/mecha anime.
