How many people even go to the Radio Section? Maybe ten percent of the site's users? That's really not a lot.
I've been looking at various unskilled jobs on certain sites like Glassdoor and Indeed, and it's starting to look like no matter what job I get, I'll be exploited, abused, or taken advantage of one way or another. Hooray~... I guess that's just how business works. ._. I'm thinking maybe try and get a job with the postal service. They pay really well.
Of course it is. I'm horribly impoverished with no goal in life and no real prospects that I can see. I have only a few hundred dollars to my name, and that is dwindling monthly as I pay off my phone and student loan. I've been looking around, and there just don't seem to be many jobs that offer enough pay to do anything with. I wouldn't make enough to move out of my parents' house, which, let's face it, is long overdue, but currently impossible because no jobs seem to pay more than bread crumbs.
Yep. All I have to do is leave behind my friends, family, amd everyone and everything I've ever known or loved. Simple!
IT is the sector that you could try to look into, as it's basically universally in demand. Unfortunately it does require specialized knowledge (for fairly obvious reasons), and most often, some sort of diploma or degree to secure a position that pays well.
I'm almost done my degree as well; specialist of computer science with a focus on systems development. Although I'm working at the moment as well. As an afterthought: Looking at your signature, you have an interesting taste in music. I suggest taking a look at Burzum, if you haven't already.
Well unfortunately, I didn't study IT in college. I studied Japanese and got an associates degree in foreign language. Huzzah. I don't currently have enough money to go back to school, either, and my family needs money a year ago. IT could be a thing down the road, after 4 more years of college...But to be honest, it doesn't appeal to me as a field of study or work. Then again, I've yet to come across a field of work that does appeal to me.
I'll either be focusing on AI or software development, more likely the latter, but AI still fascinates me. He's my 2nd highest listened to
I have ethical issues with the idea of AI. No, not in that it's unethical in itself, it's just that: Nothing should have to deal with this sort of insanity. I don't think any AI could survive knowing that this is what it lives in. I have taken it upon myself to figure it out instead. It hurts. Make it stop. What kind of insane individual decided that random people that have no communication with each other should be allowed to develop each and every separate bit of hardware?
