So I finally started working in the supermarket I was actually hired for, because it opens in about a week... And BOY are some people stupid. This one lady looked in, saw the mostly empty shelves, then took a cart and stood at the automatic doors which wouldn't open... She wouldn't move until the manager opened the doors manually and told her the store won't open till March... And then she got angry and walked to her car spouting profanities about him. I know the store's opening was postponed, but everywhere it said we open on the 16th has been changed accordingly for a while now... But yea... "Morons"

I'm reposting from tumblr because I'm still in shock. The Trackpad on my Blackberry curve (ugh) stopped working for the thousandth time (Bearing in mind I've dropped it in the toilet TWICE, had it chewed on by my puppy and I've owned it for years) and because I have no money to replace it or get a new phone, I completely lost my temper and threw the ****ty thing at the wall. The blackberry's top light flashed red multiple times, which usually means it's dead. So I took the battery out and put it back in, then it stops flashing, the screen loads up and then when It's on the home page, I try out the trackpad and IT WORKED. This has happened to my phone probably eight times, I've even fixed earphones by slamming the broken one down on a flat surface. How I've owned this phone for years without it dying is a mystery.
My partner thinks it's crazy that instead of handing stuff to him to fix, I smash them against walls and hope for the best. It's just the quickest solution. Except when it smashes into pieces.
My old roommate used to do that. ...then he'd wonder why he had to get a new phone every two months -_-
Meanwhile, I've had my phone too long. Had it for over 5 years, and never had an issue with it. The day it breaks will be a sad one indeed- I've grown attached. xP

Hey me too! I've had my old flip phone for like the last 6 years and it works perfectly fine. The only downside is everyone keeps nagging me to upgrade to a smartphone. <.< That's pretty much how I work on cars lol.
If I waited to get a new phone only when my old phone broke, I'd still have my first phone. Oh, wait! I do! It's in a drawer in the kitchen. I could actually still use it. In completely unrelated news, my wife and I were discussing starting a new super-hero campaign, and I asked her what kind of character she wanted to play. She immediately said, "Radiance!" And, yep, she's a fashion designer in her public identity. She's even trying to work Rarity into her character's name. (Which reminds me, I'm going to have to research which names mean "Rare," or something similar.) So this should be an interesting game, folks.
