I have tried that before when I had to see a dietician because of my weight loss. She told me to shower before bed and avoid screens. I tried all that and couldn't sleep a wink. I guess it didn't work with me because of the Anxiety, Depression and UPD. I exercise reasonably in the week aswell. No matter what my regime was, I would always be up in the night and I became terrified of sleeping because I thought I would suffocate in my sleep. Without sleep certain symptoms I had got ten times worse, now that I can sleep, although they're still there, they're not as dangerous as before. But yes I agree with you. Actual insomnia is unavoidable, not voluntary. If people choose to browse their phone or computer it can affect their sleep. Luckily my medication helps me sleep even if I go on the computer. Also my doctor is extremely helpful and watches my medication dose carefully.
Yeah, it doesn't work for everybody, just most people. Sometimes you have an unavoidable circumstance; one of my roommates, for example, has terrible insomnia where he can just lay in bed for hours with his eyes shut and not sleep, and his doctors haven't been able to find him either the right medication or the right dosage. A good doctor can make the difference in the life of someone with medical issues; it's good to hear that yours is so helpful.
Aww man that's rough. Insomnia can lead to some pretty dangerous symptoms, I hope he finds some help. Even if he has to resort to self medicating, I hope he finds something that works for him. But yeah, a helpful doctor is the best thing for your health, because they actually care and listen. - - Auto Merge - - I wish I knew how much texts were to people abroad. Yeah, I figured the exercise thing would probably be a major part of it. I actually used to go to the gym quite regularly, but I just couldn't find the time when school started back up again. Hopefully when the semester's out I can start working out full force once more, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to just go on a few more walks till then. I'll try to keep an eye open for toffee syrup, but I'm not entirely sure where I'd find it. In the baking supplies aisle, maybe?
This dad is awesome. I wish more people understood how important it is to make children face their fears.
Pfff hahaha! What was that kid expecting though? xD He learned alright. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
That dad looks soooooooo disappointed. I for one disagree with his method. It will make his son learn alright. Learn to never trust anyone, even his own blood. Hmm, actually, that is kind of a good lesson.
I agree that this is a lousy way to teach your kid anything. I'm all for tough love. Hell, I'm even for spanking but this is just dangerous. Let your kid learn at his own pace, don't kick him off a friggin' vert ramp! I can't see how doing THAT made sense in that SOB's head! Dad: What did you learn, son? Son: I learned that I'll never be able to walk, go to the bathroom by myself, or father children because you're a dick and broke my spine, Dad! Thanks a friggin' lot!!! Go to hell!!!
I'm pretty sure he'd break an ankle at most. But seeing as i hate 99.99% of children, this video is hilarious
The kid was wearing a helmet and pads. If he had actually been hurt, and not just a little indignant, he would have been screaming. Besides, if he's going to learn to skate, it's important that he learns how to handle a bail.
