Sounds like a great night out, Dodo! It's great that you still keep in contact with friends during Uni, it can put a strain on some friendships but you sound like you had a fantastic time! Sapphire sounds like a cool chick, I'd like to meet her myself! And your drunk posting is formidable compared to mine! Haha! I'm going out tonight as-well, just to the Black Horse with my partner and close friends. I'm so greatful that they still want to see me even through a hard time, and hopefully we won't destroy the karaoke machine! They have the best folder for alternative music tracks, Tool, Muse, The Pretty Reckless, Alice in Chains, Slipknot, etc, (Iron maiden, Slayer, Motorhead, Metallica, Nickelback and the rest of the classic bands I'm not a fan of, but adored by the regulars!) and lots of classic karaoke tracks and even some jazz/broadway! I'm really excited and happy I can actually go outside and socialize with friends in the right environment!
The next idiot that offers me twenty bucks for my collection of Craftsman tools is getting a kick in the ass.
EYE devine cybermancy is a trip. It seems to be a horrific amalgamation of metal gear, dues ex, borderlands, half life, warhammer 40k and LSD dream emulator. All stuffed into a big blender filled with shrooms and hp lovecrafts drunken scrawlings.
It's 7:46am here, gorgeous morning for the Gay Pride event! Can't wait to go! Also, I have a minimal hangover! WHAT A JOYOUS DAY!
I don't have a problem with Gay Pride events, in theory. I do, however, have a problem with the people that view them as an excuse for truly repulsive behavior. I don't care if you're gay, straight, or anything in between. I don't want to see a bunch of people wearing inappropriate clothing (or sometimes no clothing) making asses of themselves, I don't want to see PDAs that border on softcore porn, and I certainly don't want to see people subjecting children to such lewd displays.
