Finally got demons souls. The hell is this giant flying mound of clay doing eatin' souls? Thats MY job!
I don't. Never really was a golden age, always someone that ruined it. Atleast after i showed up, two years ago.
I joined this site just in time to see a mass exodus of disillusioned members that missed the "good old days." Also a massive crackdown on adult roleplay in the PMs. That caused a few permabans.
I do. I was that guy that no one remembers. The "golden days" for me ended somewhere in the summer of 2012. On another note, my legs are ON FIRE! I had to climb through so many thorn bushes today to retrieve blackberries to make the best syrup in the world and my legs got torn to shreds. Blackberry syrup taste good at least. I won 1st place last year at the fair with it and second place for it's jelly form which was just a batch of syrup without enough water in it.
Its kind of entertaining how the mods ban stuff like that when no one under the age of 12 comes on here. And most 12 year olds on the net are already pretty perverse. And its in PM's to begin with. No one else see's them.
I thought it was only if they discussed it in the open or the PM was reported. I remember complaining several times about this site being like a pre-school with all of it's ridiculous rules. Good times.:magic: Though I have to wonder why people who think they're too good for the fandom still remain active members within the fandom. They're usually people who were huge fans at one point and when they became less than interested in the show they decided to pick on those who still like it as much as they used to. Meh...
I barely manage to keep it PG-13. And on my Tumblr I don't. I know there's a whole pointless 4chan Verses Tumblr thing going on presently but I have yet to be triggered by anything 4chan has done. And even If I have a huge panic/anxiety attack over some content they manage to tag in that doesn't mean I'm going to leave Tumblr. At worst I'd take a break until everything resolved itself.
Meh. The Tumblr vs. 4chan thing is just a handful of guys with no life goading a bunch of SJWs. No big deal.
That's what I thought. The only thing that disturbed me was the suicide they apparently instigated and 'caused' though I'm not quite sure if it's true or not.
Guess it depends if you're into historically accurate or more imaginative weaponry or both... Historically speaking only farmers or peasants would use scythes as a weapon in battles since that's all they had. What people consider "cool" isn't really of my concern though. In most games or movies scythes don't usually bother me though, unless it is trying to be accurate. Then it really does stick out like a sore thumb. In games like Dark Souls I typically avoid them because they just look goofy to me for anything other than people with generic grim reaper builds. Just not my thing. Glaives and halberds are sexy though.
Boy, do I know this feel. I've known members on other pony forums who've lost interest in the show, started exclusively using anime avvies, and even gone as far as saying they're "leaving the fandom" entirely...and yet, there they are, still using pony forums. Their excuse always seems to be "Well, all my friends are here," but A) so what? Move it to Skype; B) I think their real reason for sticking around is to troll and leave ****pot-stirring status updates/blogs about how "MLP's not as great as you all say it is". Maybe this just shows what a piss-poor site admin I would make, but...if I ran a brony forum, I'd enforce a rule ensuring that those who expect to become/remain members of my brony forum be, well, bronies. If you're gonna turn your nose up at ponies and become a pompous animu snob, there're plenty of Madoka forums where I'm sure you'll feel right at home. Hell, I encourage it. The more focus SJWs put on those basement dwellers, the less they'll lose their fudge over more-or-less ordinary Tumblrites (a.k.a. white/"cis"/hetero/male/racist/misogynist/transphobic ****lords) like myself. In the short time I've been active on that community, I've already been branded an ableist, so the harder 4channers troll self-righteous Dumblrites, the more I benefit.
Really can't leave out testyal1, DoubleRainbowDash and DanSze. Echoax was here, then, too. I joined at around the time that Saikyo made a thread when he became a full member (or maybe it was senior member, I can't re-member). Oh, and Merriweather joined sometime after I did, as well. He was cool. And @mike406 is still here! Always a pleasure. Yeah, it's been sort of neat to see the activity on this forum rise and fall over time as we get newer members joining. I was just thinking that soon it will be three years since I first joined. I definitely had this sort of "new kid on the block" feeling, and even though I wasn't ever the most active I've just been hanging out here ever since. People come and go and a handful of us are still here. I do miss a lot of the old regulars. Hehe, it was kind of like a pre-school. I don't know why they'd stick around. If it was me, then I'd probably stay just because there are so many people hidden here in the community who are actually pretty cool. Case in point, you. We've both been posting on this forum for three years and I don't even think we've talked all that much. Isn't that kind of weird? There are loads of people here, if you really think about it. Even when the site is desolate because nobody is posting anything new, you can check and find fifty or so people who are just hanging out. Though I dunno why people would pick on everybody else.
Now we`re grizzled veterans. the young`uns will never know what the olden days were like, when bronyism was just catching fire.
I joined when the old members (Testy, Saikyo, Dansze, etc etc) were still about, but a couple of months in they started to dissolve. So those Golden days I can barely remember, as I didn't post a lot back then.
All I remember about Dansze was an obsession with buckets(I still don't get the reference) and then bullying Sparky.
