I'll take a faint guess and ask if he was into Homestuck? Homestuck has a thing with trolls and buckets. I have no idea what this conversation is about anyway. Sent from my SM-P600 using Tapatalk
Anime doesn't entertain me as much as it does others. Usually generic protagonist with incredibly stupid hair and an even more stupid weapon fights some weird looking monsters. And the boobs are unnaturally huge and jiggle as if they are made of jello and not connected at all to the torso.
yeah, but its that piece of the brain that enjoys mindless action. like gurren lagan. if you want a drama anime, try bokurano. its very... social, if that makes sense.
Well, they were probably Bronies back then, too, but they might not remember a period of time on this site when the people who have long since left were very different, and the social dynamics were as well. Agreed. Generic characters plague anime in much the same way as they do in sitcoms. I've enjoyed Baccano, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Durarara and Samurai Champloo either for ingoring character norms or for compensating for them with exceedingly interesting foils to the character norm in question. This was the thing that's bugged me about Attack on Titan; all the characters are just generic anime characters. Granted, the action and plot are both unique and entertaining, but with such cookie-cutter characters I've found it almost impossible to enjoy. Everybody else seems to love it.
Sounds like a pretty accurate description to me. And going deeper into the generic aspect, it seems to me that such protagonists' cookie-cutter personalities run either one of two ways: The brash hothead or the brooding emo git.
Hey guys, Saikyo here. Just here temporarily, while I work on a few things for the site for my 3rd year here. What'd I miss?
Damn. That's not good. Unfortunately, I forgot to make my goodbye thread. I don't wanna bother the mods with re-activating my account, so I'm just waiting until my stuff's done. Then I'm afraid I've gotta part ways with this place for good. Tch, I'm sorry. It's just time for me to move on. I can't well and just leave the site without doing something for it though. That's very uncharacteristic of me. Gotta be honest, I was never really into the whole pony thing. I just liked the people here. I'm sure that much was obvious to a lot of people. But hey, the site's gone through a lot of stuff. I'm glad I could be here for it.
Well then, heh. Glad that's out of the way. Dilly, Crimson. How've you been? Please tell me you haven't exploded yet. That was supposed to be my job.
can I add you on Skype then saikyo? so, to get into this game design course, they want me to make a drawing portfolio of a half design art bits. problem : I cant draw. so looks like in order to make games I need to be able to paint the mona lisa.
Sure, chocolate. Feel free to add me on Skype or whatever you want. For anyone interested, my skype is yunhibiki.
Over time, you will continuously get better. Artists are not lying when they say practice, practice, practice. Use things for reference. Do the same piece over and over again until you feel it is adequate. It is arduous, but you will definitely become better with time.
