Well... I'm officially one more week/two more episodes away from being able to read the Elfen Lied manga. I guess I'd better kiss my sanity goodbye. You think I've lost my sanity now? Talk to me in a few weeks after I've read a good chunk of Elfen Lied manga chapters. Then we'll see just how sane I really am.
So guys, the park is now open.
7.8/10 Not enough Dino's But in all seriousness, it look's pretty good actually. We have Spielberg at the helm with a futuristic setting, along with us silly humans trying to play god. I might go see this when it comes out. My younger brother want's to become a Palaeontologist, so he would be all over this.
Finally back online. 27 hours with no power all because of some lousy wind storm. I had to sleep in 35 degrees F last night. Right now my room is at a comfortable 47 degrees F. Too bad my mile long walk to the creek and back with 2 bigass buckets of water was half wasted. This whole experience has been a little less than fun.
wasn't trying to 1-up you at all. Just giving you something to think about, considering that complaining due to 35 F is pretty sad. No offence.
The coldest I've ever slept was -15° F. The hottest was 105° F. I much prefer cold. You can just keep adding blankets. When it's too hot, you can only take off so many clothes before you're naked and wondering if peeling off your own skin will make it feel less hot.
Regardless of everyone's "record" it was an unpleasant situation. I've certainly endured worse than it, especially in my childhood, but that's a whole other story.
I wasn't trying to compare, I was just mentioning personal experience with the topic at hand, which is apparently unpleasant or dangerous sleep temperatures. That said, I've heard of people dying of exposure at 40° F, so it sounds like you were lucky that you didn't end up with hypothermia.
The whole "Stormtroopers can't hit anything" is a total myth. I just Googled 'Stormtrooper hits something,' and found this video.
