I kept forgetting to post about this. I finished the Elfen Lied manga this past Tuesday. It was... interesting. I'm really not sure how else to describe it. However, it was also pretty confusing too. Do I recommend it? I guess I do, but, this manga is NOT for the faint of heart. Don't say that I didn't warn you.
I'm only really keeping track of two animes right now. Saint Seiya Soul of Gold and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. If only because Saint Seiya is an old personal favorite that's my 'Dragon Ball Z' if you will. Still like DBZ, just like Saint Seiya a bit more. And Jojo's is Jojos and should be watched by everyone just cause of how awesome it is. Then again, not everyone likes the entertainment of Daniel D'Arby or Elder D'Arby.
When someone asks you to pray, you pray. This prayer, in particular: "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn."
I've officially begun reading the Welcome to the N.H.K.! manga after, just like with Elfen Lied, I found out late that the anime and manga differ too greatly. At least this one only has 40 chapters compared to Elfen Lied which had 107.
I was planning to go to a family reunion in Ohio at the end of the month, but I have to work instead. Well, *squee!*.
Too bad. I live in Ohio. Probably nowhere close to wherever it is you were going. I just felt like sharing I guess.
Eh, I wasn't really looking forward to it. I've only been to Dayton once, but it seemed like everyone in the city had either a chip on their shoulder or a stick up their ass.
Um... but... you see... That's kind of the vicinity where I live. It's my zip code anyway. Please don't hate me now?
I'm not saying that everyone in Dayton is a jerk. Just the people that I encountered while I was there over a decade ago.
It's cool. I can't really say if it's changed or not since you've last been here. Mostly because I don't know enough about people who live in Dayton myself.
I don't do family reunions. I'd count myself lucky to have to work instead. Then again, if I didn't have to work, I'd just find some other excuse. http://www.randomexcusegenerator.com/ For everyone's reference.
