If a mod is abusing infractions report it? I don't like when people jump for the ban switch... :/ I'm not above the rules. Nobody is. If you have issues with staff report them to me or any other admin. You guys gotta lighten up a little bit! :c
In all honesty, I think it should be more than one mod that can ban a member. In my opinion it needs to have at least another mods approval.
Mike, you do know the swearing experiment failed right? which means the rule stayed. I'm pretty sure the rule said no swearing or actions will be taken againist that person. something like that, if I remember right.
We do. Honestly. Any member that gets banned is discussed with other staff prior to banning within staff chat.
You see, there was a soldier, hired to guard a bridge. Sadly, keeping track of all of the equipment was hard, so they hired a manager for the soldier. Oh course, when there were several such bridges, they had to put a manager to keep track of the managers. That manager then put a middleman between himself and the other managers to act as an adviser. Then, the owner of the bridge realized this was costing too much, and fired the guard. And that's why bureaucracy is bad. Asking more people to make decisions one person should make is nice and fair, but then either all the people involved have to be in constant contact, or the banning has to wait. Either way, inconvenient. Especially for combating the likes of SnowyShuffles. As long as I have a chance to argue why it's unfair, I'm cool.
We're just about done with making new stricter guidelines for moderators. So that they know exactly what to do for a situation that happens. If they ban too high or not apply warnings when necessary, well that's a big no no in my book.
I'm sorry for this random pic, but oh my god this pic is hilarious (In my opinion) The look on his face is priceless!
