Hey bro, I know exactly how you feel. When meeting new people you get the constant pressure to say something, and if you can't think of anything the pressure just grows and and grows and makes you feel more and more uncomfortable and you start judging yourself... That's why I'm often nervous to talk on Skype.
Few years back I was analysed by a psychologist to see if there was a cause for my terrible concentration and illegible handwriting, and he concluded that I had discalculacy and... something else, not exactly sure what. Anyway, it was enough to get me extra time and the option to use a keyboard for most of my GCSEs. I don't get the extra time any more for A level, but I'm still allowed to type. To be honest, I don't really like doing it; it separates me from my mates and I feel like its probably an unfair advantage. Still, right now I could use every advantage I can get.
It seems Livestream have made some technical changes overnight which have resulted in people not being able to use the 'chat' function. Symptoms as follows: If you try to type in the chat box, you get error message: "You cannot talk since you have been banned by the moderator." You may also see this message: "The chat room has been cleared by the moderator." Unless you were already on a ban, you have not been banned !!! Each livestream channel 'owner' is having to reset the channel - this cannot be done by mods, only the channel owners. Please note, it may take up to three channel resets to get the chat function working again Restart the channel several times.

On the subject of uni and pressure and stuff, you could say that, but some people at my uni are some of the biggest douchebags I've ever met, and thats kinda saying a lot. Ok, some are really nice people, approachable, willing to help, and quite easy to talk to (usually the more mature adults) but some of them are just pricks.
Good to hear, sort of. No, I'm not going to be inconsiderate and say "ignore them". Douchebags simply cannot be ignored. Well, good luck. The best defense for douchebags is a big group, or so I've heard. I wouldn't know, after I beat the f*** out of someone they left me alone.
