I'm thinking of getting a smart phone finally. I don't know which phone (it'll be an Android), but it'll be affordable if I get the minimum in terms of plans. 450 anytime minutes with unlimited text and web and a 2GB download limit per month would cost $90 per month. But if I get the phone at Wal-Mart, I get a 22% discount, making it more like $70 a month. Not too shabby. Edit: Forgot to mention, this is Verizon I'm talking about.
I'm guessing you're talking about Verizon? That is exactly the same plan I have. How much are you willing to spend on a smartphone?
Yep Verizon. I'm not sure on the phone yet. I want it to be installed with Android, and have a slide-out keyboard. I hate the idea of typing on a touch screen. I mainly just looked at the plan today. The phone itself I'll look at later. Everyone I asked about when it came to provider said "DON'T USE AT&T FOR THE LOVE OF GOD." So I won't. xD
Get a palm pre. Shame they don't make them anymore. I have AT&T, not my choice though. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Ooh looks sleek. $200 with a contract isn't too bad. I wonder if my 10% Walmart discount works on it.
I have the Droid RAZR, and it's amazing. But I did get screwed over however. I got it for Christmas last year, and literally a few weeks later, the Droid RAZR MAXX releases. It has a bigger battery, giving double the lifespan. And since it was past 30 days, I could not trade it in...oh well. It is the EXACT same phone, with a bigger battery. What's better? The RAZR goes down to $199, and the MAXX goes for $299, which I had payed for the regular RAZR. Talk about bad timing.
That's one of the joys of pushing carts. No one bothers you unless they need something. Otherwise I can just walk around all day listening to metal and ponies. Gives me great exercise and a great (farmer's) tan. Yikes. I'd like to avoid that.
I think it was done intentionally. RAZR is released in time for the Holidays. Everyone is pumped because it's the thinnest smartphone ever made. They buy it. The battery is diminished as a result due to its thinner profile. Trolol, release better version .08 inches thicker with double the battery life, but past the 30 day trade-in limit. Umad?
That sucks. Dump phone company. I like my phone though. I have 32 gigs of space I think Or maybe it's 16 gigs. I can't remember. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
I'm not really concerned so much about the battery life of my phone. It lasts me all day which makes me happy. It's mostly the money thing that pisses me off the most.
Storage space will be an issue, but that Droid 4 supports up to 32GB mini SD cards, so that'll solve that. I needz mah poniez. ALL of them.
My battery is pretty good. I always have a charge thought just in case. My forum app eats the battery. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums

Awesomeness! Also I noticed the Golden Sun level up sound when Fluttershy was made a Wonderbolt. Made me mini fangasm.
