I don't mind gore, unless it's Mortal Kombat. But R34 should seriously NOT exist. Too many things have been R34'd. Including my favorite game, Tales of Symphonia...
If people like clopfics and R34, more power to them. I'm not going to stop people from reading or writing them. I like reading Fan fics, I like to see how people can alter an existing universe. Also Apple/dash FTW. just saying
I used to hate the concept of it, until a discussion with a friend of mine, who is a rule 34 artist. We were all asking him if he 'enjoyed' his own work. He actually replied he has never watched porn in his life, and doesn't intend to. Obviously, we asked how someone who didn't even watch normal porn would become a rule 34 artist. Apparently, he only draws it as a request, based on the ideology that people into 'normal' porn can easily find that online. However, someone into ponies has to put up with the fact that their fetish is socially unacceptable and just have to deal with that. Kind of sad when you think of it. That changed my opinion on R34, really.
It may be socially unacceptable, but R34 existing for everything is wrong. I don't want pornographic images of the games I play, the shows I watch, or the books I read on GOOGLE IMAGES FOR GODS DAMN SAKE. This isn't just about MLP: Rule 34 is seriously wrong, in my eyes. R34 has essentially ruined my childhood, and a ton of shows/games/books in general. I can't go 2 minutes without looking up something for a self-related project without finding SOME R34. It's disgusting, seeing so many innocent things turned to mush by some guy with a computer, MSPaint, a pencil, and an idea. I have nothing against people who MAKE R34 (Unless you're =[JFH]= Jiggly) just R34 in general. (For those who don't know who Jiggly is, don't even ask.) And I don't have a "Fetish" with ponies. I merely like the animation and character development. The characters walk, talk, and act like normal human beings, and it may be a kids show, but it has superb quality, and deserves whatever awards it gets. And it should get one. Commonly being called a pedophile is horrible, and it hurts, just for watching A show designed for kids. It's commonplace at work when I wear my buddy's Vinyl Scratch/Dumb Fabric shirt. But I get over it. But it isn't a fetish, and I'm NOT a pedophile, nor will I let past experiences affect me for what and who I am. Believing what others tell you will only lead to suffering in the end. Judging people by what they wear, say, watch, read, or play is highly wrong. Even if you watch pornography, you aren't a bad person. Even if you make gory games, you aren't a murderer. Jumping to conclusions has killed more than one person in life. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion; whether it be Ghost from Radio Graffiti or Mark Levin or Rush Limbaugh. R34 is no exception. I don't care if you make/watch/look at it. I just care that it exists. EDIT: @pixel: I don't have anything against people who like/make R34. I just think it is morally wrong to turn things into porn just because some random guy on 4Chan posted 100 rules of the internet.
I have no problem with it. If that's what you like, then more power to you. Everyone in the world has different taste and different views. I don't feel I should judge an entire person based on the fact they like R34.
