    Chinese signs (also used in the japanese language) and yes i learned japanese for a year at university and i fogot almost every kanji i learned, and i still hate Kanji lectures...

    Well it may be because the simpler design of our flag is easier to put on a mane...just black red and gold (important its often yellow, mostly on cheap flags, but original flags, like at official buildings have the bottom part in gold)
