    Thanks to joshua, I mentioned SCP173 to my friend I'm currently hanging with, and he knew about it. He showed me a couple videos and then came across an SCP087 staircase simulator game. Now I'm watching him play it and he's freaking out. Fun!

    It's a survival horror game revolving around people getting pulled into haunted situations and having to find a way out of the place they're trapped in, usually by exorcising the ghost of the person who caused the situation in the first place. I've found all the games to have amazing music and stories, and 2 and 3 have great voice acting. the first one...not so much. By the way, your weapon is a special camera developed by an occultist researcher in the late 1800's.

    What I like most about Fatal Frame is that its scares aren't usually the jump out and say "BOO" kind of scares, but they revolve more around messing with your head, making you sure something will happen, and many times nothing does.

    And I love them so just for that. Also the really engaging story and the way they do the narrative. Similar to Silent Hill in that most of the story is revealed through snippets of documents you come across. :grin:
