Well, today's done. It wasn't a bad day really, just kinda bleh. Ended on a slightly bad note where my friend who works in overnight maintenance, who I thought I had all but converted, said he gave the first episode a try and lost interest in 10 minutes. I told him last time I talked to him not to start with the first two episodes, but he did. When asked why, he said only "the reason," referencing some sci-fi thing or another that I don't know about. This is a guy who, like many of us when we first started out, can't get past the MLP moniker and is really hesitant to give it a shot because he grew up in a family that had the mentality of "MLP is for girls." He is a big fan of the Touhou fanmade things, as well. I honestly do think he'd like it if he gave it a decent shot and got over the fact that it's MLP. He does love the .MOV series on YouTube. Long story short, he watched the most boring part of MLP and lost interest, and I want to get him back on track. What do?
well just ease him into it again I guess, perhaps wait a while, he might loosen up a bit after a break. show him some fanmade stuff, or perhaps a montage of some really great moments on YT. I don't really know though :/

I gotta admit, watching Fluttershy montages made me want to watch the show... Cuteness overload /)^3^(\ @ Yami, no clue. I find it to be most busy when the brits are up. ie, when I'm (supposed to be) asleep
Any ideas? I've shown him the dragon scene from Dragonshy, including everyone's attempt to deal with it, and Fluttershy seriousing the buck up, and I've shown him the Winter Wrap-Up song scene, as well as the tornado part of Hurricane Fluttershy (the part where Fluttershy joins in).

Well it would be best to find out which pony represents your friend best, or rather, which you think he will like the most. I like fluttershy because I can relate to her in so many ways, and she's just adorable. Xanshy <3
Well I never have enough time to show him an episode. We usually get around 3-5 minutes of time. When we see each other, it's when I'm leaving at 11 and he's waiting around for the 11:00 maintenance meeting.
Hmm...I'm not sure any of the mane 6 would be a bull's eye for him. If I were to pick one, I'd say he's probably most like Twilight. I'm not sure how susceptible to cuteness he is. If he loves cute, the Flutterspam would be best. I do know he has a thing for domineering women. Not sure if that could come into play anywhere. I could do that. I'm not sure if Boast Busters would be the perfect choice, though. Hmm...I've been thinking maybe "MMMystery on the Friendship Express", or "Return of Harmony" parts 1 and 2.
