Tired and a little bummed still...I had hoped ponies cured my "heat rage," but it's still around, as I found out today.
Basically, when it's really hot and humid outside, the stupid, disrespectful, inconsiderate stuff customers and even co-workers do get to me much, MUCH faster. I lose my ability to shrug things off and go about my day, and instead obsess over how I was wronged and how they should pay for wronging me. Stupid thing to do, I know, but the heat saps all my energy, including the energy needed to think rationally. Doesn't help that increased heat means more people getting lazy and putting more burden on me. Sometimes, like today, the irritation builds into an all-consuming rage that takes all I have to direct at inanimate objects rather than those responsible themselves. It got up to around 90 degrees Fahrenheit today. But it was nothing but sun all day with almost no wind. Bad part is I know it's only going to get worse. Summer isn't even here yet. The killer humidity hasn't even started.
It hit 77 here in Chicago today, but the humidity made it feel around 80-85. Thanks Celestia I was in school all day. EDIT: We Won't get fooled again by The Who is playing on the radio. Anybody wanna guess what that song is used for?
i know the feeling, even with the fan to my face and the window wide open, my room is 10 degrees hotter then it was outside
Do you really know the feeling? The feeling of doing physical labor for days in a row with nothing but hot, humid, windless air and intense, burning sun sapping every ounce of your energy with each step, making you sweat so much you need to change clothes halfway through the day or else suffer sweat rashes all over? The feeling of the constant threat of dehydration, needing to drink a bottle of water every 20-30 minutes to fend off heat stroke? And then, on top of all this, the feeling of watching all the lazy customers leave their carts wherever they want, causing you to go minutes out of your way in the staggering heat, only to find when you get there that they also left their cart full of trash that you have to also take care of? And of watching some of them doing this very thing while LOOKING AT YOU WITH A BIG SMILE ON THEIR FACE?
i do construction work, no A/C there or at home..... i deal with heat and trying to not lose a limb to a saw, or shooting my Co,worker in the leg with a nail gun EDIT: and also not hitting anyone or anything while driving in a Bobcat
Obviously no one's gonna guess. The part near the end of the song contains YYEAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!! I go out and skate in the blistering heat, it can be 90 and I'll go out. I'll be sweating like a downpour, not to mention how much worse it hurts when you fall. When it's above 80, I can go through around 5-7 bottles of water in a 3 hour session.
Fun ey? Hmm, this count? PS. Sorry Pixel but Adventure Time is awesome.
