Actually, if global warming was to carry on, the polar ice caps would melt and disrupt the gulf stream. Without the gulf stream, Britain wouldn't get a warm current and it would be as cold as Canada, Norway, Sweden and other countries on the same line of latitude. Long story short, the rest of the world heats up, Britain cools down. How hipster are we?
To be honest, I don't care too much about the weather. I spend most of my time indoors, I have a fan in my room and I have access to plenty of cold drinks. I've got it pretty good.

Don't believe it. The truth is that the end of the Mayan calendar actually marks a celebration that took place at that time so I've read. It never mentions 2012 or December 21st. That might have been just one of the days on the calendar that would have been a day when they celebrated.
