Wow, Yami! That was good, especially the harmony parts! Of course, harmony is my favorite part of any song. I think exactly what you said earlier, almost. I could tell you were working on enunciation, for sure! I have to say that I noticed I wasn't pronouncing things all that clearly when I was putting mine together, but I suppose it was foregone in stead of notes and volume. Like you said earlier (when you were comparing our singing), your notes are a bit shaky at the beginning, but smoothed out toward the end. Overall I think it was very good, especially considering you did ALL the vocals, unlike me. And about me sounding bored, I have that tendency to be serious when I am singing, cause if I am too happy or sad or angry etc., I lose concentration and the notes sound awful, I'll be sharp and flat all over the place. >< So I suppose in retrospect it's probably the song choice that was the problem there. I wouldn't say I have training in singing, but I know a bit about it. Here are my recommendations/commendations summarized: 1. Try to steady your voice. I don't really know how to explain it, sorry... 2. Good job on the harmony, it was in tune and correct. That wasn't much of a list... That is an insult to lists everywhere. But I can't come up with really anything else, everything else was just great. Nothing really stood out as MORE great except the harmony.
Right you are. I have a tendency to lose patience and move on even if I know a note is slightly sour one way or another. The beginning is what bothers me most about this cover as well. Like the feeling I put into fell somewhat flat (not musically speaking, necessarily) and it sounds kind of stifled or something. Well, I always have the project lying around if I want to take another shot at those beginning parts. The biggest thing that annoys me about my singing is the lack of care I tend to have for the small, unimportant notes, like those at the beginning of phrases. because of that, many times the note's not even on key because to the song at large, it's not a big deal. If by "steady my voice" you mean less tremolo, then yeah I can see what you mean. My voice has a natural tremolo to it, and I often like to use that to kind of disguise when I have trouble landing a note precisely. :derpe:
I completely misjudged that level of Disgaea. I think I may need to up my characters' levels to 17-odd.
this is going to sound wierd on your rise to fame... so..who taught you to sing? "well...the bronies of the world taught me." umm...what? bronies? "yup." *presenter coughs* well then...moving on.... MIND. BLOWN.
Yes. Yes they are. And I tried to level up my Pokemon in a Pokemon Black ROM, but I couldn't. So I junked my emulator. :[ Also, hey Gaba.
Well, hey there ax. Yeah, I had to uninstall sims 3 to even battle in HeartGold. Extremely fun for me being a fun of the old gold/silver/crystal versions.
After my laptop was fixed, my SNES emulator and my N64 emulator were uninstalled. I've yet to reinstall and play them because I have so many other things to do. :/ The only other emulator I have is VBA. I'd like to play some good ol' Pokemon sometime.
I used to have a SNES, GB/GBC/GBA and N64 emulator. Then I got a virus and my harddrive became unreadable, so I had to erase everything. I've installed Mednafen on linux, and that emulates quite a lot of things (GBC, GBA SNES, NES and more) although I can't find a decent N64 emulator for Linux that my computer can cope with. I'm using the emulators to play the Legend of Zelda Games. But on the topic of Pokemon, I've been playing since the original. I've recently played through FireRed and Gold to kill time in class. Now I'm playing Sapphire and I will replay Red once I finish. I've also got ROMs for Platinum and HeartGold. I can't find a ROM for Black or White though (I use my R4 card to play the DS games). EDIT: I used to use Project64 for Windows. When I changed to Linux, I tried Mupen64 but that lagged too so much it would barely load.
