I must question the reasoning behind me being in there. Good news, I guess: I've felt quite a bit better than I have in probably months, reasoning behind lack of activity. I was in an extremely depressive episode, having suicidal tendencies again. This good feeling will more than likely not last, but I guess I should treasure it while it lasts. I am also starting to feel guilt, remorse, sympathy etc. again. This weekend, I think I'll do a marathon of MLP. I actually haven't seen any of it in probably a month or so.

Depends on how loose you are with terms. Technically they are different things and serve vastly different purposes, but one was greatly inspired by the other. I'd say that no, the coats in the Matrix aren't trench coats, but you can make the distinction if you're merely describing what they superficially look like.
