I've completely ignored E3. See you guys will be all pumped for games that are coming out. Me, I'll be super surprised when I see it. HAHAHAHAHA MASTER PLAN.
I saw Rayman Legends during Ubisoft's presentation. I actually liked that the person using the Wii U tablet saw something different to the other two players and had to help them by tapping the drums. That seemed pretty cool.
I loved Pikmin, but I never completed either one! I don't know why, I guess going through so many underground levels kinda put me off. I had fun with the multiplayer Pikmin 2 had.
I hate Nintendo for exactly that reason... They experiment too much with different ways to play games. I'd like to play a Nintendo game with a regular controller and all we get is games attuned to be played with that silly tv remote...
Well, I'm not the biggest Nintendo fan. The greatest games from them were the Metroid Prime trilogy and LoZ: Wind Waker. I adored Rayman: Origins and I just thought it was a neat trick. Nintendo's other games feel a bit "samey" to me.
Yeah, my family has been playing the multiplayer way too much. We've discovered all sorts of dirty, cheap tricks that probably weren't meant to be part of the game. We don't play nice, lol. But Pikmin is definitely one of the most original games ever. Period. I like it how they experiment with new ways to play games. I think that this might be a good way to kill screen-peeking for local multiplayer games, at least partially. ^^
Nintendo is my favourite video games manufacturer. If you want to have an intense/hardcore game with some friends/strangers, get an Xbox or PS3. If you want to have fun either by yourself or with some friends, go Nintendo. Graphics-wise, Nintendo has a long way to go to catch-up. That's because they spend their money and time revolutionising gaming. Also, I've heard of Pikmin. Although I never had a gamecube so I've never played it. Anyway, long story short: Nintendo makes similar games to be played in different ways, others make different games to be play in similar ways. It's personal preference, but I prefer Nintendo for this.
Hay gaiz, Pikmin party at mai houze tonite. Ur all invited! In other news, Everypony Chat has been found beaten, mugged, and left in an alleyway. It is quite dead. COME CHAT PPL
I think I'm streaming the conference, there is going to be a Pikmin 3. I need to ry out Pikmin some day.
Ah Pikmin, you look so adorable at first, but Pikmin 3 will murder me. EDIT: 4 captains and none of them are Olimar....wat?
I honestly don't get what's so amusing about Pikmin... Same with Sony's Little Big Planet. It's boring as hoof
U mad? :Trollestia: No seriously, i can't speak for LBP1 since i never played it, but i didn't even get past the tutorial levels of LBP2 because i can't understand half of what the hell that guy is talking about with his overly british accent. So far, it's been boring. If a game doesn't captivate it's players from the very start, they're bound to quit before it gets interesting.
They just announced "New Super Mario Bros. U" See! "Samey"! It looks exactly like the last two, but with a flying squirrel suit now......eh....
