OMG Yami! Things are going pretty good so far, I'm pretty much settled in, all that's left to do now is start studying (Starts July 9th) and find a job. There's plenty of jobs here, the hard part is finding one that's right for my needs :derpe: What have you been up to lately?
Those are quite fun-diddly. Quite true. This is why I never watch any television news broadcasts. They only show bad, depressing stuff. Proof of this is that my grandparents have the news running in their house literally every waking moment, and my grandmother is insanely paranoid that bad things will happen all the time, etc. However, a lot of people are jerks in the world. A number of things have happened on my end lately. To sum it up: 1. I've done a few more songs 2. I went on vacation for a week to Alabama to visit with family from Georgia, Washington, and Texas. My cousin's 12-year old son, who lives in Texas, has been my favorite person to see for the past few years because we both love video games and he watches me play and sometimes plays on my laptop while I play on a console. I found out at the beginning of the vacation that he's a brony too! We shared a big brony hug. I sang karaoke on vacation in front of my family and a restaurant of people. 80% of that family have never heard me sing. The reaction was absolutely thunderous, and my second song got a restaurant-wide standing ovation! 4. I've almost gotten up enough courage to search for a singing coach. 5. I applied for a staff position yesterday. Why hello there, Legion. 5% doesn't give me much wiggle room. I must try harder!
Heh, lots going on for me too! (Yay lists! I like lists.) 1. I might get a JOB at a LIBRARY! A LIBRARY!! Like, only the best place on earth filled with books and books and computers and also books... and it would increase the amount of Twilight Sparkle-ness I have by about 20%! 2. I saved someone's life yesterday! 3. #2 is a lie, I actually just called an ambulance for some random person who fell from their wheelchair hard onto asphalt somewhere that didn't get much traffic. I'll bother telling the whole story if anypony is interested. 4. For anypony who didn't hear already, I get to brag more: I got into my school's elite singing class! Passed the audition when there were two spots left open. ^^ 5. Taking a software designing class next year! SO EXCITED 6. Hoping to teach mahself sum Latin over the summer. ^^
All good news, that's what I like to hear. I think you're going to love doing some proper training, not that it can't be done by yourself, but you know what I mean. So do I, sometimes lists are just better, rather than trying to work together sentences into an awkward paragraph. My grade 10 English teacher seemed to disagree though :BP: edit: dangit I can never remember the berry punch code Software design class, is that at school? If so, awesome! I wish my school would have done stuff like that.
Eeyup. As a matter of fact, it's a brand new class. This past year our school got a technology grant and used it to buy iPads for every student in the high school, and so this upcoming year they will have a class that teaches you how to make Apple apps. :3 As I said, SO EXCITED Unfortunately it is only Apple app designing, at least as far as I've heard. But still awesome!
I always get those two mixed up, it's like a weird mental block thing. But yes, I meant the Cheerilee one, Thanks Oh what?! That sounds awesome, I totally would have done that class! but I'm glad schools are starting to offer these sorts of classes.
I promised myself I would at least look for a vocal coach today, if not contact them. Still haven't gone to Google.
