I tried to draw a pony once...well...I'll go that far. Hi everypony! @Xan, I read about your friend, I know someone who is like that, if he's anything lik the guy I know he will be extremely mad for a short while and then he'll be fine later, but don't worry about it, I'm sure things will turn out just fine *le internet hugz*
Okay, Photobucket at least told me the file was too large instead of just SAYING it was uploading but not actually uploading (Which is what imgur did). So now to crop and reduce quality until it works. EDIT: Hi, Simon!
Howdy. Well, I can agree that he is like that, and personally I don't really mind what he does. If he comes friendly again, fine! A little annoying, but a bearable friend to have, if not, meh. not too much of a loss really. He seems to forget and forgive things quickly though. I don't cook. I burn juice ;-;
Okay so here they are, I was practicing drawing last night because I wasn't allowed on the computer but I'm nocturnal, and I had nothing else to do. Spoiler: Happy Twilight Spoiler: Twilight looking up Spoiler: Upset Twilight Spoiler: Grumpy Twilight Spoiler: Grumpy Twilight again
Lemme see if I can't troubleshoot that for ya. Gimme a sec. View attachment 4459 View attachment 4460 View attachment 4461 The other two are too large to reference locally blah blah blah, but you get the picture.(Hee hee, I made a funny) Thanks, my goal is to be able to just draw them. I'm jealous of my friends that can do that; I mean seriously, one of my friends can draw a pretty much perfect anything if you give her half an hour uninterrupted. She drew the humanized version of my OC Silver in 15 minutes without even looking at a picture of him the whole time, before or while she was drawing it. 0.0
Welcome to my world, all the artist I like put out about 2 pictures a week. Me, I maybe 1 every 3 weeks is a miracle
Back from having lunch. I made myself a cheese toastie (which is British for "grilled cheese" by the way). @Legion: Those are pretty awesome. Did you use a reference for those or were those drawn from memory? Either way, they're awesome. Like Echo said, practice makes perfect, although I can't really say that considering that I'm terrible at drawing. Maybe I shall attempt to draw one day.
Eeyup, if you go back and watch Bridle Gossip, those are all different expressions on Twilight's face. That is, if you're in the mood for a search and find. xD I was using that to draw from. I think I'm catching on, I've discovered a "formula", if you will, for drawing Twilight. (I'm a maths person, not an arts person. Deal with it.) I am willing to bet there is a formula for every other pony on the show, too, and once I find them all... Mediocre drawings! Mediocre drawings everywhere! At least until I practice enough.
Well you can only get better. And your drawings are already pretty good. Soon enough, it'll probably become like a second nature. EDIT: NOOOO! I was double ninja'd. I looks like a winrar is not me
Zeph! -glomp- Thanks for teh complement! Perhaps I judge myself by too high a standard or summat, IDK. I think I compare my drawings to the show and think "Oh, the show looks much better." Except the show has thousands of dollars worth of artists and animation technology into it. I still don't think my drawings are very good though. I hope so; that's my goal, in any case.
Once at disney studios in florida i did a little class thing to try drawing a ddisney dcharcter, our class had jack skeleton. afterwards i showed mine to the animator dude and he said it was really good, the he gave me his skecth autographed! it was the best day ever
Prefect, until I need to do her wings and break down crying. Just remember Z, if I break down, it's your doing.
Oooooo, what kind of history?! I love history! And never will tire of it. Unless it's American history, that's boring.
