I can literally listen to almost any music and appreciate it. I can enjoy the actual music in metal, but I'm not a fan of them screaming the lyrics.
It's because you posts tend to carry that tone with them. And you throw out insults as jokes, which clearly can get misconstrued easily.
That kind of stuff happens when it's just written out. New rule for the forum! Every post must be in a audio format. Record EVERYTHING!
New rule: when something is meant as a joke, use an emoticon like this::derper :Trollestiar Hopefully this can avoid confusion. I'm not sure how easy it is to post emoticons on mobile browsers though.
But that's how I talk. I never insult someone in a debate. Seriously that's how I talk to people. If I was allowed to be uncensored it would be a lot worse.
Yes, text is...not the best format for carrying across subtle tones. It depends on how they are read and typed, and lots of other stuff. Basically, if you joke somewhat callously, you have to expect somepony might be offended by it. So yes, Echo, you prolly should put something like "JK" after you say Metal is for...whatever it was you said. I'm not really in it right now. Anyhow, I have to go. I hope you guys work this out. ... ...Hugs?
I figured the fact that I said Lame-0 was good enough. Really is lame-0 still considered an insult. I even used a 0. what more do you want. Also: not changing my typing style.
Most of what I say in real life is intended as a joke. I'm known as "the offensive one" in my school. When I post in a similar manner, if it may offend anyone I use the emoticons. I'm not sure if they're effective to use on a phone though.
News flash: just because YOU no longer consider something an insult doesn't mean it's not one. And I interpreted the "0" as extra added obnoxiousness with the intent of angering me further rather than a joke. This is precisely why I didn't go into specifics when I disagreed with your list. Well whatever. I have to go to work now.
