Obviously. Mmm, well . . . Yesterday was update day. Spent it updating most of my assorted programs before going off to work. That's always fun. But now I'm all set for the future! Well, except I still need to get Windows 7, which I probably won't bother until I get a new computer. This one's almost three years old now - quite the dinosaur.
My computer is 5/6 years old. If your computer is a dinosaur, then mine is a Granny Smith. I've had to reinstall the OS many times, but it's still going strong.
There was an Apple I that was sold recently, and it still works! Now *that* computer is Granny Smith age. Yours is Jurassic, mine's Cretaceous. And mine's running pretty good, but I do want something with more memory and speed. Thinking of going for a gaming computer, if only for the speed.
I'm hopefully getting a new laptop soon (within the next month). I'd love to get a gaming desktop, but they're just too expensive and I need the portability of a laptop. So I'll be getting a decent laptop instead.
Welp. My deviantArt account just blew up. Computers eh? I got my laptop last May, the better connection speed let me go on Youtube and stuff more often, which led to ponies. Now however, a lot of the keyboard keys are broken in some form lol. Still runs really well though.
I'm actually suprised that my laptop's lasted this long, especially considering how much I use it. Although I've reinstalled the OS many times to keep it running. It originally had Vista, then I install windows 7 about 10 times (no joke) and now I'm running Linux Mint, and it's working better than ever. The only problem is that if I leave the battery in it, it overheats quickly. So I'm currently stuck in one place, which is alright considering I hardly leave my room.
Wouldn't mind having a lap top, but I can't afford both a lap top and a desk top, not unless I come into a lot of money somehow, so - desk top for now. Also, I'm thinking - XBox 360, if only for this: http://www.transformersgame.com/#!/home Next best thing to ponies.
Mine PC's a whole year old now... And I still haven't got any more RAM! 4GB just ain't enough for me! I don't think I need a new graphics card, I've got a nifty enough Nvidia Geforce GT 340, ad it seems to be holding up nicely on the latest games, but I'm unsure about my processor. It's an Intel Core 5 650
I've got 1GB RAM on my current computer. It's amazing how I've managed to get by with it. Although Windows 7 did screw up every so often, which is why I switched to Linux, which requires much less power. I'd like to get a more powerful computer with windows, so I can get into gaming a bit more. Also, I'll be able to emulate more powerful systems.
Yay, I've decided to pick up guitarlessons. I'm pretty excited about it. Watch me, I'll be a rockstar in 10 years.
I used to play the keyboard. And I tried to play the guitar. But then I decided, no, It's too much effort. I dislike effort.
What sort of guitar. If you want, I can explain how electric guitars are made and how they work. I had an exam on them so I know all about them. Such useless information lies around in my head. As for me, I used to play the guitar and I kind of play the keyboard. I need to get back into it. Although I can't be bothered to get lessons so I may follow some online tutorials and see how they turn out. I've kind of taught myself how to play the keyboard, but that's just pressing buttons. So it's nothing too great.
Yeah, one day I'll mention you guys in a speach. Well I'm starting from scratch, so I guess I'll begin with the classic guitar. But yes please, I'd like to get some info on electric guitars too. I've always wondered how they work, and who knows what I'll end up playing.
And then Twinkledust became master of the electric violin. :derpe: I used to play the cello, but that was years ago. I wish I still knew what I learned back then. I wouldn't mind learning an instrument again.
