I have picked up Homestuck again and have been reading it for a few hours. This is getting ironically good.

We may think of such a thing as everypony changing to a different world view as impossible, but just look at history - whole countries have changed their world view in a short period of time, sometimes just days. If you want examples, look at Nazi Germany (for a bad example) and the old Soviet Union (for a better example).
No, it could never happen. For one, those examples still aren't the whole WORLD. And for two, it wasn't really eveyone in that country. Nazi Germany, for example, used fear, blackmail, lies, etc., to force people to do what they wanted. If those people had been in charge, though, I doubt they would have done the same.
True, it wouldn't be over night, and in the case of Nazi Germany (sorry Timotei), the change was bad, so more people rejected it, and it lasted a short time. In that sense, the jury is still out on Russia. But given enough time, any cultural belief can take hold. Probably the best example would be Christianity. It's mythology is known all over the world, and even people that don't believe it are still effected by it. That took about a thousand or so years, so, I figure that's what it would take us to convert the world.
