It seems you've brought up the topic of people being insensitive and trying to derail a topic which is genuinely close to a lot of people's hearts.
I cannot even begin to count the number of fools at my school. Seriously. They make jokes about gays, which everypony laughs at, except me. Things like "Gays say 'what'." which provoke a response of "What?" is just insensitive. Do they not realise that someone's sexuality is their own choice, and is not to be tampered with? Ridiculous. I like the school, I hate the students. Then again, we're built up on family, TV, internet, (dare I say it?) Facebook, and people around you. They stuff opinions into your head, and take away liberty. If we take away liberty completely, then what sort of world would this be? Mad.
Students aren't really tolerant in High School and such, but in College the people are nice and tolerant.
I wasn't even considering the possibility than anyone here hates the artists who draw it, I was talking about making those who do enjoy it feel bad and socially wrong for doing so. If I don't like something, but someone who does asks me my opinion on it, I will tell them that it's simply not my thing. I'll give factual reasons for my opinion, showing respect to their tastes. I will not go 'because it's sick and wrong and you should feel bad.' Because frankly, if I did, I should feel bad.

Late reply to stuff is late. Yeah, I guess I didn't even think about older individuals who are uncomfortable with R34. I think I can empathize--they probably react the same way I do to grimdark (and by that I mean the REALLY grimdark stuff). Thing is, when I don't like something, I just close the tab. It's a rule I apply to most anything on the internet: if I don't like it, press back or close the tab/window. I've never seen the appeal in wasting one's time complaining about something that isn't even harming anything or anyone, especially on the internet of all places. Fair enough. Maybe people would take more positive messages from television if those behind the shows cared more? Lately whenever I watch television, it's hard to find characters that are actually, you know, likeable. What happened to nice characters? I mean, I'm okay with characters being diverse and not ALWAYS being nice, but every single show about teenagers seems to demonize us as liars and backstabbers, even though (at least, I think) most of us aren't like that at all! Even initially nice and likeable characters usually end up being jerks after a while in some cases. It makes shows like that almost painful to watch when the protagonists treat each-other like dirt constantly. He was a YouTuber with a relativelysmall but dedicated fan base. He mae some decent tunes, but also stuff like YTPMV's, and just some hilarious stuff. He was really original, and never advertised himself, which was nice. Anyway, enough about him, Me = Squirrel. Explain.
