we do we really do,but it dpeends on the typoe,i mean we took a savory pie(mince) and made it a sweet thing take that logic!
its easy to do just buy some premade puff pastry roll it out,put it in pie pan(or tin dpeendng on type) make sure the edges ofthe crust stick to the sides,add filling,cover(or not) put in oven for 30-40 mins(or when golden brown) and u have a jelly bean pie
