HAHA! You're quite welcome. Don't abuse it too much though, because if BB code could talk, it would probably say, "Gently, please!"

The only brushables I'm still trying to find are the Cheerilee and Lily Blossom ones. Still no luck.

Also, both my parents know that I like FiM. They don't really care.
They didn't care when my little brother first got in to it, so why should they care with me?

I dealt with telling people as a 17 year old guy I'm still heavily into Pokemon, so this is basically the same deal for me. It's no different from someone judging you for reading Harry Potter. I'm proud that I like something which actually has morals behind it, you know? I'm actually considering what tattoos would look good. Maybe some sort of cutie mark...

@Tenor I've just realised that the link you posted is a .com domain. I.e. It's American.

Well, to put it bluntly: I didn't get anything from that trip to town. *Sigh* Maybe some other day...

So I was thinking of putting this in my dream thread, but I realized it was a bit of an offshoot from pony dreams.

In the radio chat a few hours earlier there was some chat of lucid dreaming. Has anyone really experienced this? I had a dream last night where I was being chased by some unkown figures (maybe cops) in a huge mall. I ran through various back rooms until I reached a flight of stairs. As I run down the steps, i see the shadows of people approaching the opposite way. I then, for some reason, focus on a way to get past and suddenly I shrank myself to miniscule size. I then forced myself to change into a spider and crawl pass the oncoming figures, then I change myself back to normal size. That's all I really remember...

Was that an example of Lucid dreaming (willing myself to change)? If not, how do you achieve lucidity?

    Well that was interesting....

I realized I was missing the Twilight "I can count to books" image, so I went on Google images and searched "Twilight Sparkle I can count to books". After about 8 or 9 results I found testy's avatar as a result. I clicked on it and it took me to the Twilight Sparkle discussion topic on the forums that testy started.

And that's my random story of the day!

Were you aware that you were dreaming? If not, then no. It just seemed completely normal for you to turn into a spider in that reality. You may remember the dream I posted in the pony-dream thread about me running and then all of a sudden I started running on all fours and I heard the clopping sound of hooves like I had just turned into a pony. However, I was not aware I was dreaming. In that reality, it seemed completely normal to transform between human and pony. So that was not a lucid dream.

I have had lucid dreams before, but in my case achieving lucidity isn't always easy. In fact, it's usually random. There are two common ways I know I'm dreaming:

    I. I'm in a repeated dream and remember that it happened before.

There is one example I can recall back to my childhood. Heck, this nightmare occurred 15-20 years ago and I still remember it. I dreamt that an evil spider with a mustache (yes, you read that correctly) had killed my mother. Of course, when I woke up, I was crying hysterically (I was only 5 or 6 years old), and I really thought my mother was dead until she came into my bedroom to see if I was okay.

A couple of weeks later I had the same dream again. This time, I knew what would happen. So instead I killed the spider and saved my mother. When I woke up I felt triumphant. I never had that nightmare again.

II. What's going on just seems too ridiculous.

This one is more common for me. Sometimes I'll have a dream that just seems too utterly stupid that I know I must be dreaming. Unfortunately, this isn't always the case as the two previous examples (evil spider and pony-human transformation) have demonstrated.

So, from my experience, achieving lucidity is fairly random, but proving lucidity is not. I mentioned this in the pony-dream thread. I'll usually use the "pinch test." Once I think I'm dreaming, I'll pinch myself really hard. Once I realize I feel no pain at all, I know I'm dreaming. Then I'll do whatever I want in the dream, or if I want it to end I usually try to think to myself, "WAKE UP! YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP!" or I'll try to off myself in the dream, but even that doesn't always work. I've survived such attempts and I'll walk away thinking, "What the... That didn't work?"

My god...I think I was lucid for a bit last night. Before I went to sleep I did some mental preparation to encourage lucidity. I think it actually worked. I was in some sort of large room, flanked by two shaowy figures. It was the figures that gave away the fact that it was a dream. I didn't really know what too do now that I had complete control, so I did the first thing that popped into my mind. I created a mountain range and materialized a freakin dragon from nowhere. I then rode the dragon around for a bit, before I felt the lucidity weaken. I didn't know how to hold it, so I just woke up. Ah well....

I think I was a bit overdramatic with the whole creation thing. When I created the mountains I rose up into the air, lifted both hands to the sky and screamed, "I demand mountains!" Same with the dragon. Weird....

When I was younger I used to dream nearly every night about evil strawberries. *Sigh* I was an odd boy.

I hate dreaming. Most of my dreams turn into nightmares where I get killed in some painful way or another and I ALWAYS remember the dream later.

You think that's weird? When I was a kid I always dreamed of evil clocks. Yep! That's right! EVIL CLOCKS!
I used to have nightmares mostly about electronic analog clocks that would chase me as a kid. Especially the ones that have that glowing face. My grandmother used to have one of these clocks and whenever I'd sleep over, I'd be scared to venture into the dark bedroom because I could see the clock in the corner with its glowing red face. It gave me the shivers. I remember a dream about it. I was in bed, and then I turned over and looked and saw the clock, then I turned back. After a while, I felt like something was staring at me, so I looked at the clock again. This time the clock had a kink on the top that made it look like an angry eye and inside the face I saw a dancing figure that looked like Evil The Cat from the Earthworm Jim series. I got so scared, and while I was staring at the clock I was getting a tingly, numbing feeling, and I felt like I couldn't move. Suddenly I woke up after that.

I also had another dream that I was in my grandmother's house (what's with being at grandma's anyway? I guess her clocks were evil, lol), and I walked into a bedroom and saw an analog alarm clock. Then I walked out, but then I walked back in, and this time the clock looked angry and started levitating and heading towards my direction. I ran into the kitchen and told my parents and grandparents about it, but they dismissed it as being ridiculous. The clock never got me though.

Strangely enough, I turned this fear into a passion. As a kid, I used to collect clocks. I even made my own clock in a woodworking class I took in high school. At one point I owned over 40 clocks. Even as an adult, If I see a really cool-looking clock, I'll buy it.

Since we're on the topic of dreams at the moment, I had a really messed up dream last night. I dreamed that I murdered two people and for no reason at all. There were three of us in a car going down a road in the woods at night. I was a passenger. The other two were friends— not IRL friends, just people that I knew were friends in the dream. The driver found some Green Day music on the radio— good choice, that's my favorite, but suddenly, out of nowhere, for no reason at all, I got really angry. Somehow, and I don't remember how, as we were crossing a bridge, I suddenly got the strength to grab the driver and throw him out the window into the river where I presumed he drowned. Then I started driving. The guy in the back started freaking out and said, "What the hell, man? He was your friend!!!" So I stopped the car and grabbed him by the throat and strangled him. Then I took the car and drove off, but then I started feeling really sad.

I actually had a flash-back in the dream of me doing it and I started feeling disgusted with myself and felt depressed, then the dream ended. Dude, what the heck is wrong with me?! I would NEVER do anything like that. This is the kind of thing that makes me scared of my subconscious, lol.

We all really care about our Livestream, don't we? One minute this forum's trundling along at its normal pace, and the next thing you know- BAM! Huge radio alert! Everypony's running around AWOL.

Has anyone had a Cupcakes nightmare? I had one a while back and it was weird because I could partially feel the blade (I know, I know! It sounds dark but it was true!)

AWOL? Doesn't that mean 'Absent Without Official Leave'?

Anyway, I'm not too concerned. Not for my sake, anyway. I can cope without the radio, but I do hope it's up soon. Not caring about the radio just because I'm not on it frequently would be might selfish of me.

Nevertheless, I'm confident Grey and the gang have it all under control.

It's been a weird day on Everypony in general for me. I get on the live chat with some horrific RP going on. Then the chat goes dead. I leave for a few hours and there's more incomprehensible RP talk, than the hole stream drops dead, and we all move to a small grey box to chat in....weird

Horrific RP going on? That sounds interesting. I missed it because was Christmas shopping today (I'll explain if you elaborate on the... horrific RP).
