California Girls came on the radio Started singing along to the words of Equestria Girls It was awesome~~ : D
All right, I'm ready for Day 2 of college, let's see.....I got an Intro to College class, Fundamental Biology, and Survey of Theater.....pretty cool, in my opinion.
*Needs to get books before first day of college next monday.* (Will get books tomorrow; and sleeping with my Vinyl Scratch and Derpy Hooves.) :derpe:
Looks like we're all preparing for college and school and what not, some of us are already there. It's going to feel weird being in college after devoting my entire summer to ponies. I'm going to feel so out of my comfort zone. My only brony friend in real life doesn't go to my school, so I'll feel a bit of brony isolation. I mean, I have loads of friends in school, but now that I've been introduced to ponies, it's going to be a nasty shock when I realise how drab and monotonous they all are in comparison. Honestly, after spending months with you guys, I don't know how I'm going to cope being thrust back into the unsatisfying depression pit that is teenage life. I guess that's why I want those pony shirts so bad, and why I've put over 300Mb of pony music on my phone, just to provide a lifeline to this community. I honestly think I need ponies now, simply because it's been so many years since I've actually been happy. I don't want to be without ponies, because I'm scared of going into depression again.
We obviously need our pony-fix during the day. This is why we get shirts and wear them once in a while in public. (Unless your me, maybe twice a week.) Hopefully I can convert some people into bronies in college. And I have about 6-7GB worth of ponies on my iPod (4GB Music + 2.6GB Video) with 1GB worth of regular music. I'm pretty much set besides books...
Being technologically impaired, I don't have any pony music or videos on my ipod. However, my college does have wi-fi, so I'm always able to go on YouTube and listen to music. I also always have a connection with you guys....except for the radio. Lup, as long as you have ponies with you, you'll be fine. Depression won't get to you, I'm sure of it. Just remember to stay focused on school, we can't have Pinkie Pie dancing around on your math book singing....,
Lol. Anyways, same here Zephyr. I have like no connection with the people on the Radio. The forum is where it's all at! :vinylscratch: (Make this an emoticon ASAP.) :derpe:
I do have unlimited internet on my phone, so I guess I will be burying my head back in every lunch and break I get. Heck, I'm on my phone now! But Zeph you have just given me a random idea that just mighy save my already deteriorated mental health. The school year before last was my most depressing. There wasn't anything particularly wrong with it, that was just when the depression was most prominent. One thing I used to do a lot was draw, draw all over my books. It was my way of escaping my surroundings, by indulging myself into the fantasy world in my imagination. Or maybe I was just expressing all the weird things going on in my head. I remember, my maths book was the most doodled on, by far. In fact, most of my deviantART stuff is my maths doodles (my old stuff anyway). I think it was the way you mentioned Pinkie Pie dancing around my maths book, but I just remembered how nice it was to escape via drawing. So that's what I'll do, I'll go back to doodling, but this time ponies! Obviously I'll pay attention in class, but instead of sitting their bored witless when I'm not working, I'll just get doodling! Maybe some of them will be elaborated on when I get home (I've been doing a lot of pony art recently, as seen on my deviantART). Who would have thought a simple Pinkie Pie joke would have led to all that. Oh, Pinkie.
*Why can't be some other ponies joke.* :derpe: Drawing seems like a good thing to do during class. Although listening to the teacher/professor is important.
I approve of your idea Lup! Have her do stuff with the things already in the book. Chew on numbers, comment on examples, dance on top of equations, that kind of stuff!
If I do fulfill my dream of becoming an orthopedic surgeon, I'm going to have a picture of Pinkie Pie hung up and framed in my office, and should someone ask me how I got to where I am today, I'll just point to that pink pony and smile.
