What are you seeing? Chronicle was amazing, I can't reccomend it enough.

 

My friend just gave me COD World at War. The description for Veteran difficulty is "you will not survive"

I did not. Maybe the hardest game I've ever played, with all the friggin' grenades flying all over the place. Still my favourite CoD though, the multiplayer is FANTASTIC. Best maps, weapons, environments and tanks! Yes, tanks! In CoD! I know!

I'm glad I finally got an FPS with singleplayer. MAG was getting kind of repetitive.

EDIT: Probably the last hard COD game since Modern Warfare came out next. I have it on DS and even then, it's still hard.

 

Classic Call of Duty 3 had the same description.

CoD was awesome until they started this modern warfare crap.

 

They need to do one with Vietnam and Korea. And the splitscreen survivor in MW3 is pretty fun.

 

Black ops was in Vietnam and it was terrible.(I played it at my Dads house the only part i liked was Zombie mode)

The REALLY need to do a WW1 game.That would be original.

 

Yeah, WWI would be pretty cool. They did a Civil War game which got great reviews, why not WWI? And I thought Blops was Cold War.

 

Vietnam was part of the cold war.

I didn't know there was a civil war CoD....

 

Black Ops wasn't CoD: Vietnam, it was set in many different areas of the cold war. I can only remember a handful of missions actually taking place in Vietnam, and even then you weren't fighting the Vietnam War but rather fighting a Russian who just happened to be in Vietnam at the time.

Also, there's reason why we haven't seen any WW1 games. As far as interactivity goes, there'd be nothing to do than watch a cutscene where you sit in a trench for two months until you get ordered to advance and get cut down by machine guns in a battle where camping is the only way to win. I can't see that being very fun, to be honest.

it wasn't CoD it was by 2k, I beleive, but it Civil War was fun, then by that logic, WWI would be more fun.

 

Black Ops is most certainly based around the Cold War.

And a whole lot of Russian names.

 

Started writing the fic today, we've just gotten into the airport. This is going to be quite interesting....
