Nice ,Test! :3 Earlier today, I went to this chat group I frequent, and we were talking about fandoms. So tell me, everypony, what fandoms are you part of now/were a part of before? (Excluding Ponies, of course.)
Fandoms, none. This is the first 'fandom' for me. All the other communities I'm in wouldn't qualify as fandoms i.e. Graffiti, football, science, etc. EDIT: I suppose Mass Effect, but I was never really a big poster on the forums or anything like that.
@ TWIF, well that is interesting. @ testyal- Looks like Pinkies sister. @ Dawn Runner- nothing really, never stayed on a forum for more then a week.
I was a HUGE Harry Potter fan.....but then I read MUCH better books and the craze died for me. Now all I read is Twilight. Such a unique writing style and vivid characterization. :Trollestia: But no, really. I still like it, but now I'm into better authors. You can't quite top the classics and it gets on my nerves a little when Harry Potter or these new books (The Hunger Games are in the literature section of my library, surrounded by REAL classics) get compared to the literary titans.
Pokefan, big time... And Yugioh fan once, still have the cards. Minor fandoms I've been in (as in, didn't really participate in fan activities much) would be One Piece, Naruto, other anime/manga/video games, and some TCGs like Chaotic (played the game, didn't watch the show) My DeviantArt page won't show my Poke-faniness due to it being new (my new DA account that is) but I draw/drew huge amounts of Pokemon, particularily ones I made up. *update* I guess I may as well talk about Harry Potter and other books now, after reading Tenortrouble's post... I might consider myself a fan of the Xanth series, Harry Potter (not too much anymore though), Gordan Korman, and the sort.. But I also read the classics like Great Expectations and H.P. Lovecraft (yes because of Cthulu)
