When she passed by the hallway, she saw Jared, unconscious and being dragged, and she gasped. Biting her lip, she continued on.
(Not to question Larks logic, but wasn't it a big party? I thought we didn't properly remember finding the object, so remember who else found the object should also be hard right?) Bobby opened his cell phone and started fiddling with it. He had no idea what he was doing but maybe his brain did. [I leave it to the DM if Bobby succeeds in doing something productive with the cell phone.]
(Well, Jared and Kara knew who he was in the beginning when they were talking. I might be wrong, but I was just going off of that. If so, I'll totally change it.)
(The whole one more guy is the part that I question. Knowing Bobby was at the party is one thing, but Jerad wasn't sure Bobby got powers he just recognized him from the party. Again since the cops got called I would assume it was a large noisy party so they're are probably a lot of people who didn't show up at the office. Bobby barely recognized Jared and Kara, and wouldn't recognize Lark or Viktoria. He kind of keeps to himself with only a few friends.)
Bobby turned his phone around to see it was active again. He was hoping for a taser or something, but maybe if he could reach the police that be good. He dialed 911 again.
Lark had located Jared, and she went back to Kara. Viktoria was nowhere to be found. She returned outside the cellar, and she saw that Kara was no longer there. She cursed and frantically flew from window to window, desperately hoping that she hadn't been captured.
Yet again the phone gave off a loud white noise that made the students around him to wince. An agent noticed this and walked into the room and pointed a gun at Bobby. "What're you doing? give me that phone!" Jared, on the other hand, was dragged away and put down in a pillar of opaque, blue light that pulled him upwards into a 2nd ship. This one looked more like a troop transport than a gunship.
"I'm trying to call the police because it's obvious who ever you are you're acting without athority." Okay a gun. Was that a normal or some sort of magic weapon. As far as he knew he only had one weakness and that was submersion in water. So how to deal with a gun... Full Metal Alchemist would be a start, carbon was the most prevenlent element in the body. The homoculous greed could make a carbon shell around his body. He might not be able to do that, but he could at least strengthen the point of impact. Of course if it wasn't a normal bullet or if it was some sort of energy weapon.... Well the phone causes his class mates to wince. What would it do to the attackers? Since the phone didn't turn off again this time he quickly dialed 911 again.
The 'Agent' noticed Bobby was able to turn the phone on again and pulled out a scanner just as he dialled the phone. The white-noise made the guard take a step back and he shot the phone with an energy bolt. After the agent got his wits back he turned on the scanner and it began beeping rapidly.
Energy attack. Right science class last year, an insulator is a material whose internal electric charges do not flow freely, and therefore make it nearly impossible to conduct an electric current under the influence of an electric field. Was carbon a insulator or a conductor...he hoped it was an insulator... maybe the trick could still work. (Looked it up Carbon in it's purest form is an electrical insulator and a thermal conductor, so the carbon trick should protect him. This is why I chose shape shifting with my love of cartoon and comics I can come up with tons of ways to use it.)
Lark jerkily flew past a window, and saw a gun being pointed at a student. With a small sigh of frustration she debated what to do. She could try to break the window, but she wasn't strong enough. Perhaps she could distract them?
The agent looked at the scanner and pulled back the hammer on the back of the gun. A soft humming started to emit from the barrel. "Found you." He said before shooting Bobby with an electrical stun shot.
Lark saw the gun fire, and quickly came to a decision. She had crashed through a window once; why not do it again? She backed up, braced herself, and flew at the window, smashing through the glass. (It'd be pretty funny, though, if she didn't smash through the glass. Just hit the glass and slowly, slowly slide down.)
Bobby closed his eyes carboned his hand and hope his brain would guide it where it needed to be to block the shot.
The agent fired and a spherical bolt of electricity shot towards Bobby hitting his carbon coated hand. The bolt fizzled and poofed into nothingness. Bobby's defence worked and the agent shot 2 more times having the same result again and again. This was when Lark had smashed through the window sending glass shards hurtling to the floor. The agent standing above Bobby had received backup after hearing the gunfire and then aimed at Lark herself.
"This was really stupid, wasn't it?" Lark muttered. She lifted her hands, and tugged at an adjacent wind current, connecting the two 'agents', and she tugged. If she had chosen correctly, they would both be affected, and would trip. "I mean, like, that was super dumb," she said, shaking her head at herself.
"At this point I'm fairly certain I could of handle them. Do you have a cell phone?" Bobby took a deep breath. Focusing he carboned up more of his body protecting vital points. When he opened his mouth he didn't exhale.... Okay... what sort of modification did he subconsciously make to his body besides the carbon and the brain thing. It was almost too bad everything would reset when he took a bath.
