Oil Slick pulled out her Carbine and started spraying right at the zombie's "What a fine time to find a zombie" She kept shooting until it dropped to the ground. Thinking it was dead, she turned and ran out the door and onto the street
TickTock backed away from the approaching strangepony, drawing her blade. She shakes like a leaf as she slashes out at the pony, cutting through it's front knee joints. She runs quickly away from the strangepony, leaving it crippled but alive in the alleyway. She stops in a small park to catch her breath. "It's okay Ticker. You'll be fine. Just keep going. You have to hurry." She takes a deep breath and continues running.
"Son of a-" Cyanside quickly pulled her left wing to her quickly, temporarily snuffing out the flames before reaching into her saddlebags. From them she withdraw one of the water containers and proceeded to pour its contents over herself to extinguish the fire. "Calm down Shadow, look on the brightside, at least you saved Starlight and got that thing away from us again." But it's just going to keep hunting us until either we kill it, or it kills us. How do we even get rid of that goo, if kill the body it just finds a new one, and its too bloody agile to burn it up even from the inside. "But you beat it back for now, and that's what matters." Shadow went to check on Starlight, but as she took a step towards the stallion her hoof gave way underneath her. "SHADOW!!!" Guess I hadn't recovered as much as i thought Shadow fell to the ground, but this time she was grateful for it. She fell, not into the darkness of unconsciousness, but into the recovering bliss of sleep.
Safety...Finally, after almost two weeks of chaos and mayhem, there is safety... "We made it, everypony...We're getting the buck out of here..." As he was lifted into the sky by a group of pegasi, he finally let his aching joints rest and his mind clear of all thought as he drifted into peaceful slumber.
TickTock continued on, seeing the area the ship was located at not to far off. She was exhausted from running at this point, but kept going, determined to make it there. As she advanced, she could hear voices of uninfected ponies. "See, you're almost there, there are other normal ponies there." TickTock regained her vigor and ran fullspeed towards the ship.
