"Well it's quite a while until the Gala, maybe I'll go to the library and get a book or something." Ecliptic said to himself. "Indeed," the voice in his mind replied, "I'm still wondering why you came here so far in advance." A drop of rain cut off Ecliptic's response. He approached green pony with a red mane, and asked "Excuse me, do you know where the library is?"
"oh, yeah, sure," Ember said as she turned to the pony, "it's that way." She pointed her hoof in the direction of the library, with a bit of mud flying off of her hoof.
"hmmm..... its starting to rain i guess we could move this friends time to later i guess but thank you Fluttershy" "oh no problem Cal" Cal hurries to his house unlocks it gets in" "hmmm so i guess ill mess with my turntable for a while then sleep seeing how its raining" "i guess i can work on that unfinished track i've been to busy to work on for quite some time now"
Rain began to fall down upon Jhera as he continued his way to the Boutique. "Oh boy!" he said aloud. "I love the rain!" He began skipping his way towards the building. He saw other ponies inside, but went in anyways. "Excuse me," he asked, "I was wondering if you would be able to make me a suit worthy of the Galloping Gala." He pulled out the glass case with the laughodill inside. "And have this on it in some way that looks stylish." Jhera trotted up to Rarity. "If you can, of course."
"Well, it's very nice to meet you, although I'm sure I've seen you before and your name sounds familiar." Ecliptic replied, puzzled. "Have you been in town long or something?"
Rarity went through around 3 patterns before Jhera saw the perfect one for him. "Yes, yes, I'll take that one!" he said. "Great!" Rarity replied. "Ponies usually don't find a good one that quickly." She went off to the back for a moment, but quickly returned and said "I'll need that flower before I can start, by the way." Jhera's disappointment was obvious. He wanted to spend some more time with his laughodill, but if she needed it for the pattern, so be it. He handed it over and said "That thing is REALLY rare, so make sure you handle it carefully." She nodded and went off to the back room to get started. Satisfied with what his new suit would look like, Jhera placed his bag of bits on the table to pay for it and walked out the boutique and back towards his flower shop.
"Oh, dear. I'm such a mess. " GI (An acronym) Thought to him self. "Well, I gues I better head off to work then." As he flew off to the libary, he noticed two ponies standing infront of the locked library door. Alarmed, he yelled, "I'm terribly sorry about the locked doors! I'll be there in a jiffy!" He zoomed up to the ponies, gabbed his keys and unlocked it. He looked at the green pony and said, "Sorry again. I'm new in town, and thought the Gala was tonight, and all sorts of other stuff. My names Good Intentions. What's yours?" As he stuck a hoof out for a hoofshake.
(I have to argue with the whole 'locked library' thing. Ace got in there with no problem, so it can be assumed that the doors aren't locked.) "My name's Ember, I don't think you want a hoofshake from me right now." She chuckled as she lifted up her muddy front right hoof.
(Oh, she did? I'm sorry. This is what I mean by the "I confuse everybody thing.) GI chuckled back. "Good point. Theres a sink in the back. You're welcome to use it. It's nice to meet you Ember. Any particular book you are looking for?"
"Actually, this guy needs to get in," Ember said, pointing to Ecliptic, "And to answer your question, Ecliptic, I've lived here all my life, i'm just gone a lot."
"Yes, thanks. I'm just looking for something to read while I wait for the Gala. It was nice to meet you Ember." Ecliptic said. "Thanks for showing me the way."
Jhera looked at his now empty desk and sighed. He would miss that flower. Jhera began to wonder how long it would take for Rarity to finish the suit when he realized he still had The Elements of Harmony in his desk. He quickly pulled it out and put it in a satchel. Hopefully it wasn't too late to turn it back into the library! When he was sure he had everything, he bolted out the front door and clopped straight to the library. (By clopped, its an equine refrence, no r34 jokes please)
"Well, bye then!" GI waved a hoof in good bye. "I sure do love this library." He thought to himself. "Now on to you.Ecliptic, was it? What are you looking for? History of Equestria, Magical Potions and Spells, Or maybe someting like Daring Do. What ever it is, I'm at your service." GI saluted and looked at Ecliptic with a goofy smile.
"Decisions, decisions...I think I'll go for something with potions and spells." Ecliptic responded, "It would do us-I mean me-well to get out and look for ingredients. Nothing too complicated though; I'm a bit out of practic and don't want to break anything."
'Fantastic choice. I'll be right back." GI trotted off. Within the minute he came back with a book in his mouth. "Here you are, my good sir. Potions for the Beginner. If you seek additional trasining, you might want to consult A pony named Twilight Sparkle or even Zecora. They live in Ponyville and the Evergreen Forest, respectivly."
Jhera burst through the library doors with the book in his mouth. "Hw mff mme o ah ave" He spit the book onto a table. "Sorry, how much time is left on this book? I still have time to turn it in, right?" he turned to the nearest pony in the library. "Do you know?"
"Oh, hey, it's you again. The book? naw, it's okay, don't worry about it. I knew you would bring it back. Now that you renewed it, do you want to keep it for longer?"
