Taking the book, Ecliptic said, "Thank you. I'll be sure to check with Twilight later, and if you need any extra help here, I'm always looking for work. Just hit me up whenever."
"Help? I haven't been offered that in awhile. I'll be sure to call. I'm not so sure about pay, Librarian isn't exactly being a Wonderbolt, you know." said GI as he chuckled.
Jhera was amused by the Wonderbolt metaphor, but didn't laugh at all due to the amount of adrenaline that was running through him at the moment. "Yes, I'll be returning it, thank you." he replied. "Now I should be going back, sorry if I interrupted anything. Good day to you." And with that Jhera turned and walked back out the door. Realizing he was hungry, he checked his bag but found nothing edible. 'Shoot!' he thought. 'Oh well, the market's nearby, I'll just go buy something!' Jhera turned and began trotting off to the market to buy something to eat.
Snow, in waiting for her dress to finish, had gone to get something to eat. At the market she saw a pony she reconized, "Hey, Jhera, over here!" She called from her table, waving a hoof to make sure she saw her.
"Have a good day!" GI said as the pony trotted out of the door. "Now for some peace and quiet." He grabbed a book he was reading and settled down in his favorite chair.
Ember had just finished getting the mud off her hooves when the rain stopped, "Oh, good. I wont have to wash up again." She said. She decided to go hang out in the market place for a little while.
"yeah. Lemme help with that." He took a black umbrella out of his saddlebag. "Here, take it. I don't need it anyway. In case some weather pony doesn't know where to put his black cloud."
Saul put the umbrella back in his bag by magic. "I just have to make a globe over us if it rains, so i just don't need umbrellas. This one was broken, rariy just fixed it. What are you doin' in sugarcube today~?"
Cool Shades went to his Hotel suite, unpacked, and pulled out a book from a bookshelf. "The history of Equestria? Booriing!" He got his haribrush, went up to a mirror and brushed his mane into a sort of wild, unnatural style but it looked as though somepony just shoved him in front of a fan for a few hours.
Jhera decided he should write a letter back to his cousin Kesia. After all, she sent him the ticket to the Gala. He grabbed some parchment and a beaten up quill and began scribbling using his mouth. "Dear Kesia, I can't believe you would just give up a chance experience such as the Gala! I appreciate it fully and express my complete thanks! I'll make sure to obtain a souvineer at the Gala when it arrives. Actually, by the time you get this, the Gala will have already passed! Expect a gift from me! -Jhera" He put the pencil down and sighed. His jaw ached up a storm after writing somwthing like that. He folded it and stored it in his saddlebag. He walked out the front door and headed to the post office.
"Well", replied Saul to Ember (finally), "Would you like to help me find everything on this list?" He took a folded piece of paper from his saddlebag. He openened it, and the next thing which needed to be cheked was some books. "Animam Evocquare, from Strange Hollow. He was one of the first unicorns in fillydelphia, in the early years of Equestria."
"Huh, neat," Ember said, "Sure, i'll help you with your list, sounds more fun than walking around aimlessly."
(UGH time zones and Collage) ~an hour later~ "hmmm... seems the rain has stopped i guess i should go get something to eat i haven't eaten in hours well lets see if anyones out at the moment" "yup seems i've been in for an hour and everyone is already out well lets see if I can't meet anyone else today but first got to go get food
"Do you think twillight could have this book? I mean, it's a really rare book, and Luna said she couldn't find it anywhere... "
"I'm not sure. I don't go to the library too often. But she does have quite the collection of books, so i'm gonna take a guess and say she probably has it."
"So, let's go for it." Saul started to walk toward the library, then suddenly stopped. "Or i can teleport us out there, if you prefer?"
